Don't bother ordering dessert in a restaurant - just go for a lovely twilight stroll around the square and pick up some heavenly gelato. Amazing flavours and made with such care.

The shop is easily missed on the way up Rua do Carmo, we stopped there after a day of walking around the city for refreshments and to try some of the local flavours. If you like chocolate, i strongly recommend their "Bridageiros" flavour. Based on...More

Recommended to me by a Portuguese friend. This is a great little parlour with seating. Cones with 2 flavours or pots with 3 flavours (probably even bigger ones too!). You pay first at one of the tills then take your receipt to the counter. So...More
