Very interesting and atmospheric place! A collectors dream from chinoiseries to tin soldiers and GI Joes!! The place is quite big with adjoining rooms all with different themes on the walls. At the heart of it is a beautiful and very cosy bar, manned by knowledgeable and very competent barmen (a rarity in today's world)!! A must, if you are... More

Very cool little weird and kitschy bar. Highly recommend based on decor- and it's a great area of town so good place to stop in.

From the exterior, narrow frontage I expected an old fashioned and cozy bar. Instead I got several salons with wall cabinets filled with quirky and downright strange figurines and china. A mini Hitler hanging from a lamppost, next to Stalin and Churchill? The waiters are formally attired in blue outfits but the service consists of handing out an inch thick... More

The bar itself is well worth a visit to walk around and take in the fascinating collections the owner has amassed over the years. We were a little early in the evening so there were only a few customers but I'd imagine the atmosphere gets very lively. The staff however-especially the older bar staff-were unfriendly and this affected the experience. Not... More

Very interesting bar full of weird and wonderful items. Very touristy but you must stop just for one drink. It has to be seen to be believed. Reasonably price.

We stopped here on the way back to the hotel and were here just as it opened. You could spend hours looking at all the individual items in the place. The bar itself almost seems like a grand old hotels bar, only surrounded by quirkiness. We had cocktails which were wonderfully made, but they were comparable to London pricing. I... More

I'd actually hate this to become a touristy venue full of trip advisors but hey, this is an amazing bar. An old building, a maze of 'salons', liveried waiters, floor to ceiling and beyond covered is cases of eclectica, 2 pool tables, a smoking room and a generous glass of very decent red for Eur 4. And no TVs showing... More
