Visited Ramiro with my wife and had a superb experience. Started with the local cheese and bread and decided on two dishes: clams al ajillo and the grilled tiger prawn - unexpected! For dessert, we went local with the steak Prego. Yes, that's right, a...steak sandwich (it is a pretty good size, so we split it). A very unique and unforgettable experienceMore

Excellent seafood and service. We arrived with our baby and were given a hand carrying the pushchair up the stairs to the restaurant. Once inside the service was attentive but calm and the seafood was delicious.

A seafood institution in Lisbon and our favourite restaurant during our trip (we visited several times). Just straight up fresh shellfish. The clams in garlic, dressed crab and tiger prawns are all excellent. Don’t forget to finish your meal with a traditional minute steak -...called a Prego - it sounds weird to have a steak sandwich for a desert but somehow works. The place is also relatively cheap given the quality of the shellfish.More

Vergonha. Yesterday I bought a lobster that supposedly had 800gr at the Ramiro seafood restaurante, and today i weighted the lobster and foind out that it has only 615gr, but I paid for 800gr. Ramiro doesn't need to have this type of crook beahviour Better the seafood restaurant Marisqueira do Lis which has very good seafood and it is a honest place.More

Jumbo tiger prawn shrimps were soooooo delicious and plentiful. We also shared clams in a garlic broth, which was also delicious. I can still taste the broth on the bread! So good. We also had a cold crab salad/dip served in a hard crab shell...which neither of us thought was that good. Our waiter was great. During Omicrom December, we had a reservation for 6:30 and we were glad that we did because many people had to wait next door at their outside/inside bar for a long while. They do a big take-out business so don't get scared off by the crowds, but do make a reservation. We sat in a covered outside area where we felt that there was better air circulation. I've never been to a restaurant other than a sports bar where the majority of the tables were filled by men (inside, at least), but that was the case!More

The most amazing sea food in the city. Fresh lobsters and crabs, well cooked shrimps with garlic, and friendly service. Definitely worth the price and the long wait before entering! Strongly recommend it to all the sea food lovers.

Seafood in this restaurant was fabulous. The waiter gave us recommendations what to order and was friendly. Service was very fast and there was a lively atmosphere in the restaurant.

This restaurant was, by far, the best we had in Lisbon. I was there a week and went four times. Never was I disappointed. Everything on the menu was fantastic. Percebes, rock lobster, spider crab, local crab, tiger prawn, jumbo tiger prawn, oysters, garlic shrimp,...garlic clams, the best bread in the city, and the best steak sandwiches for dessert. The waiters all recognized us and made us feel special. Lots of people say the menu is difficult to understand...not true. Just remember you are paying by weight so whatever you order is will be weighed and you pay fair market value. this is an expensive restaurant but it's worth it. Best in Lisbon by far.More

We were very excited to try this well know seafood restaurant. We arrived early, just before 6pm, as we heard sometimes there can be lineups. When we got to the front entrance there were about 25 people in line. We went to the doors and...took a ticket ( 1632) . We asked the girl at the front of the doors who worked there how long we might expect to wait. She was rather rude and just said stand in line. A guy behind us asked her the same question and she said 10 minutes or 50 minutes, I don’t know. Ok, so much for welcoming and pleasant first impressions. We then went next door to the restaurant’s bar to get a drink and wait for our number to come up onto the ‘screen’. We were told they only had bottles of Heineken. Take it or leave it. We thought this was sort of weird as this place is supposed to be a beer location. My husband then went to get another number from the machine as we saw all sorts of other numbers the people around us had. He came back with #324. Very confusing. It seems it is some sort of lottery if you get into the restaurant or not! After waiting 30 minutes, we saw several parties leave, we also gave up and decided to go somewhere else. I am so glad we did. We found the wonderful restaurant Uma, and had a wonderful meal and excellent service.More

Excellent seafood. Friendly service. Good experience. Thoroughly recommend the steak sandwich for “desert”. We went late afternoon to avoid the queues. Don’t visit here and expect a relaxed evening meal, visit if you appreciate good seafood and nothing more. We loved it!

Difficult to give a positive answer. They don't answer the phone when busy. I would simply suggest show up early on that day and you won't wait very long to get in.
