Extraordinary wine list, highly imaginative food preparations, outstanding service. If you decide not to partake in the multi-course tasting menu(s), I recommend the suckling pig as it is extraordinary. Highly recommended dining in Lisbon.

The food and atmosphere were good, but with two michelin stars its within the norm of expectation to expect some great and unique food. I think this place lacks that. When I say that, I am paralleling Belcanto with Marcus at The Berkeley Hotel and...More

Expected more from this 2-Michelin star restaurant. Had dinner on a tuesday; went for the 'Lisboa' menu, where only 1 out of 5 dishes was truly outstanding, the rest was rather average (for a 'haute cuisine' restaurant). Table service was way too stiff; the highlight...More

We made re servarios several months ahead and went for lunch today. The space is nice, bright and quiet. Service excellent and the food is incredible. This restaurant deserves their Michelin stars. If you can afford it, don't miss it,

Went to celebrate my aniversary to this famous two star restaurant from celebrity chef José Avillez but it was a big disappointment, weak staff, not ballanced menu, too many soft foods on the plate and one nasty plate of stinky meat we couldn't even finish....More

Brilliantly served food, full of flavors! We picked the "Lisboa" menu and what a a treat it was. A trip through some of the most typical Portuguese flavors, keeping true to their history, while transforming them with excellence! If you're Portuguese, be prepared to travel...More

We were excited to be eating at this highly exclaimed establishment and loved the experience. It would be selling Belcanto short to call it a meal as it was a journey. The dishes were imaginative and delicious. The surprises kept coming. Two of my favorites...More

plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can
stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its

I would call ahead just to be sure. Whatever you choose is likely to be pretty good anyway. Ask for the Chef's table.
