If you happen to stop by this place, try the spiced shrimp(in apetizers)! Also the fish at the next table looks great, just don't try the cheap stuff, you'll leave hungry!

Dined here 4 times in June as using the boatyard facilities and its next door. A good selection especially of fish including a menu that changes everyday. We've tried the pork leg, fillet steak, grouper and turbot which were all delicious. The lobster curry isn't up to much-sort of chip shop curry sauce and chewy lobster. We ate outside on... More

Found this restaurant in the Lonely Planet guide. It's a bit hard to find (you have to cross the big Avenida Brasilia and there are only a few places where you can cross). Service was very good, the waiter was very friendly and spoke good French. We had the very best table with a view on the marina. We had... More

The steak was over cooked and the presentation was not in its best effort! The service was ok! Good restaurant for a Sunday lunch!

We went there for the restaurant week. We where a large party, but nevertheless this does not justify to have to wait 1h00 to start being served (the entrees) and then plus 30m for the main course. The food was quite good, but this type of service is not acceptable.

This was a meal to remember... the food was great, the view is amazing!! The staff is super nice and the place has an old library decoration feel that i loved... Overall a place to repeat.

Fantastic riverside location with great views while you eat - we had lunch there after completing the bike tour to Belem. You'll find it between the Museum of Electricity and the Monument to the Age of Discoveries. It didn't look as though many tourists were eating while we were there, just plenty of locals. The service was good and the... More

My wife and I took 3 family members from Lisboa to dinner in the upstairs restaurant at the Naval Club. Sitting by the window we had magnificent views towards the bridge and across the Tejo. Service was excellent as was the Dourade (large fish for 5). Our selected wine was not available but the recommended alternative (same price €13) was... More

Nice location by the marina. The staff speaks English. The food was great – the chicken steak, the pork's steak and the Cataplana. The cataplana was a little bit expensive and since they lacked the grouper it was mainly prawns (it was nice that except for their head and tail – they did remove the rest of the shell. The... More

We could not even finish our meal. Seafood was fried when we thought it would be grilled. Our bad. Should have asked if specific items we ordered were fried even though we were inquiring about grilled items on the menu. No effort to satisfy the miscommunication. Tomato rice was so salty I could foresee my bloating. Pasta was so overdone... More

Staying in Belem

Neighborhood Profile
Belem
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
