Quirky bar that specialises in canned fish. Absolutely loved the aesthetic. The food wasnt quite to our taste, but we both enjoyed the novelty. Good atmosphere with the surrounding pink road.

Great fun place, grab a beer or two in a great location and try some Portuguese tinned fish. Kai was great! Try the smoked cod liver! Even my wife loved it and she does not like canned fish.
Not sure if this place is a joke or what. The food is disgusting. The salad was drowning in vinegar so we sent it back and the waiter didn't seem to understand why. We got a new salad, this time drowning in garlicy olive oil....What? The 7€ mussel dish was almost funny: six mussles in a bowl in cold water. Whaaat?! Awful, just awful.More
Do yourself a favour and avoid this place no matter what! We thought we would be served a nice warm and tasty bowl of mussels, but ended up getting a bowl of cold toilet water where five mussels were swimming without the shells. The salad...we orderd was soaked in vinegar and after telling the staff we didn’t appreciate the lettuce covered in vinegar we were complitely ignored and got the worst service.More
Cosy little hang out in the heart of Lissabon. Loved choosing from the many sardines on display... for sure one of the best places if you are into testing different sardine cans! Mostly young crowd from pink street but definitely worth a visit for anybody.
Best selection of canned seafood! We tried four different types of food and loved them all, so much that we even bought some to take home!
I had a wonderful lunch here. The setting is lovely - a cosy, well-preserved venue adorned with fishing equipment, which had beautiful tins and packaging on display on each wall. I also had an extremely nice waiter - helping me choose what to have from...a big menu (I went for spicy sardines and smoked salmon - both delicious, but the salmon was sublime) and showed me the cans for each type of fish I was trying. The food was accompanied with a very nice glass of house white, and I got to try a ginjinha to round off the meal, before heading straight to the airport. Couldn’t have asked for a better end to my trip. This place is highly worth a visit!More
It is interesting and popular place that offers mostly canned fish products. The style, quality and service are good.
This place may be small, but its packed with interesting things to look at and has the biggest selection of tinned sardines on display. Personally, I'm not too fond of Portugal's favourite fishy, but I just love Sol e Pesca for its great atmosphere, its...bustling location at the bottom of town near Cais Do Sodre train station. I love the way it morphs from a last afternoon into a crowded night venue that spills out into the street.More
This is a unique little place on "pink street" that is somewhat famous, which is why I found my way there. Mostly known for their tinned fish selection (to consume there or buy for home), they do have a few other light menu items. Unfortunately...I got there too late in the afternoon for the fancier menu items, so I just went with some tinned sardines, olives, and white wine while sitting on one of the street tables to just relax and people watch.More
