Thought i had reviewed already, oops. Since a little time has gone by I can't recall what we ate. What i can say is that the prices were good and the quality of the food very high. Atmosphere was pleasant. I believe we all had seafood or fish and all 4 of us really enjoyed our meal. I'd give them... More

Very regular good food for the money. The pasta, the fish, salmon, the scallops and the nice dessert. Homemade tarte/cake with beries of some kind. Not to sweet.

Very authentic Portuguese. Great atmosphere. Starters were really nice. I had the pork medallions which were good but a little oily. My husband has the John Dory which was good and ample portion. The place was fully booked for lunch.

We had lunch there, it was busy with local business people which I think is a good sign, the food was really delicious, I had the special cod fish cakes & tomato rice €9 it was so tasty, my husband had the veal strips €11, he was also very happy. The wine was only €9 for a litre. Waitress was... More

After wandering around Lisbon for quite some time, my wife and I decided to eat at Moma. Unlike many of the restaurants, there was no haggler outside trying to shove a menu in your face. Instead the employees were busy serving all the patrons. The food here was delicious. We both had a salad with goat cheese and grilled zucchini.... More

Perfect for a lunch during shopping in Lisboa. There are mainly locals and business people eating - so not at all tourist. Food was nice and prices absolutely fair. Staff was very attentive and considered as well my gluten-allergy.

We had a superb lunch here. In an area where it seems every restaurant has people in the street harassing you to eat at their restaurant, you will find no such thing happening for this restaurant. It doesn't need to. We arrived at lunchtime and were warmly welcomed. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very popular with locals. All of... More

What a great find especially since it's in an area with lots of mediocre restaurants. We had two daily specials, both were excellent. The owner recommended a wine (different from what we initially chose) which went perfectly with our dishes. If you're in the Baixa area, definitely go to this restaurant

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighborhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
