Perfect for a lunch during shopping in Lisboa. There are mainly locals and business people eating - so not at all tourist. Food was nice and prices absolutely fair. Staff was very attentive and considered as well my gluten-allergy.

We had a superb lunch here. In an area where it seems every restaurant has people in the street harassing you to eat at their restaurant, you will find no such thing happening for this restaurant. It doesn't need to. We arrived at lunchtime and were warmly welcomed. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very popular with locals. All of... More

What a great find especially since it's in an area with lots of mediocre restaurants. We had two daily specials, both were excellent. The owner recommended a wine (different from what we initially chose) which went perfectly with our dishes. If you're in the Baixa area, definitely go to this restaurant

We went there for lunch. Very friendly staff. I don't really eat fish but decided to try something from the specials. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place if in Lisbon

Me and my Mother had dinner at first, Friendly staff, Fresh Food, Fresh Fish, reasonable price (compared to others) 35 euro (one Starter and Two Grilled Fish entrée). We decided to have lunch there again, it was nice again 30 euro (Two Pasta Dish and one shared Grill Fish) Location is near rue Augusta lisbon and near Beach, Highly Recommended... More

We had to book to get in, this was Easy to do and hassel free as we could organise our reservation online. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very nicely decorated in an understated yet smart way. The food is really nice, we had grilled fish and it was flawless. The owner was around serving tables and... More

Enjoyed a lovely evening meal at Moma on a visit to Lisbon. Situated amongst a plethora of other restaurants all touting for your custom in the Baixa, make this one your choice! We particularly enjoyed the courgette and pesto salad for starter, then excellently cooked cod and also salmon for main. The owner also tempted us into trying some delicious... More

We went for lunch and were not disappointed. They have a regular menu and daily specials. I had the beef fillet (for 15€, so really good price) and my mum had the cod. Both dishes were really good, so I would definitely come back. Especially in this area of the city where you will find lots of not so good... More

The best pasta with prawns we have ever eaten. Great atmosphere and sangria :) Also desserts were nicely served, the service came and showed us what they had today so we can make our choices. Even though we decided not to come back to any restaurant during our stay, we did come back and it was very good decision :)

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighborhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
