This restaurant is amazing. The sushi dishes are great but the dessert is the best. The decor is superb, so is the staff. We went on Saturday night and the place is packed, so book a table!

Groovey trendy interior plus outside verandah. Semi traditional Japanese menu with some fascinating Portuguese twists such as foie gras nigiri sushi. The food is very very good. The service is very good also except for one young lady who seemed bored with us/ annoyed with us/ or simply that's her way. All other staff interactions were fun and engaging.

Enjoyable sushi in a really nice place. I have very high standards when it comes to sushi and this was better than I thought it would be. I'm staying close by and it was more convenience than choice but I have to say the food was very good. Would come back the next time I'm in Lisbon!

On business as a table for one. Was told no tables on terrace which was ok. Dining room modern and airy. Waitress a bit aloof though. Ordered vinho Verdi but had no sparkle and seemed like the bottle had been open a while. Sushi was pretty ok. Went for the tasting menu. Starter cleared before I'd finished. Black cod was... More

Simply the best sushi I ever eaten in my entire life. Very well prepared by the chef where you can find a great experience of flavors. The price was reasonable (60€ apart from the drinks). The place is very modern and quiet but the best location from a perfect experience is the balcony. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I had best sushi I ate in my life. We went back next night to try more. The waiter was new but really pleasant. The decor of the place was modern and very fresh. Quiet place.

Quite simply the BEST sushi I have ever eaten anywhere before ... The most surprising part was the price, very very reasonable for such amazing quality. We had black cod, Apple sushi, prawn tempura, edamame and a cocktail each and the bill came to €75. If you had the equivalent meal at the same quality in London you would pay... More

Sushi Cafe Avenida brings shushi to another standard. From the freshness of the ingredients, to the quality of the service (not forgetting the beauty of the space), it has all the ingredients to a memorable meal. Although it might be perceived as a bit expensive, I for one believe that the price relates to the quality. And, from that perspective,... More

If this is the first time you open our menu, Hajimemashite!(Nice to meet you!)If you are already a customer, He Yôkoso!(Be welcome!)The age and the familyIt was on the 13th December 2005 that we opened the SushiCafé Amoreiras and we never imagined that after 6 years we would be here and already with 4 restaurants established (SushiCafé Avenida, SushiCafé Amoreiras, SushiCorner Colombo e SushiCorner Atrium Saldanha). We are now a numerous family and all of this owed to you. Thank You!The Fish qualityAlthough we changed the dimension we never changed in what is really important, the fish.We still buy the best Tuna in the world, the Bluefin. It belongs to the specie Thunnus thynnus, from the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the bluefin is the largest tuna there is and therefore the most tasteful, we may see the different types of meat as the akame (less fat), chu toro and ho toro (more fat). Our tuna is captured according to the Japanese know-how. The tuna capture is probably as important as its quality, in a deficient capture it loses blood which means losing quality and flavour. Our salmon is upper category, 1st class of the three existing categoriesWe only buy large dimensions of salmon from Norway (6 to 9kg each) as it preserve better the flavour and consistencyWe wish you an excellent meal and relish with the best of Japanese food.Itadakimasu!Expression meaning gratitude mentioned before meals!
