I'm giving this a good review purely on the basis of a good night - the fado was brilliant and really made the evening. Three performers sang twice intermittently throughout the evening...it's just unfortunate that the food was nothing special. In fact it was very salty. If you're in Lisbon I'd definitely recommend going here once. The only other thing... More

Great food. Better entertainment. We went for our anniversary as recommended by our trip guide, thinking it was going to a tourist event, but felt like it was a true experience. Each singer was better than the last. Never heard of Fado before, will definitely listen again. Oh, and the food and wine were worth going for as well.

As I pulled up in my cab, a gentleman from the restaurant came out to welcome me & open my door. I asked him how I would hail a cab after dinner since this is a pristine & quiet neighborhood. He said he would call a cab when I was ready. It would take 2 - 3 min. He was... More

This is an elegant, old world location. It is formal and expensive. The pre show appetizers were really good and get the steak sr. Vinho. It was good. What made the place a once in a lifetime experience were the Fado singers. This music sounds like a combination of gypsy ballads and opera. Service was sublime. Although the menu was... More

We liked this place, and unlike others had excellent service and good food. And I'm picky. While nothing was exceptional I thought the overall experience was very good and would recommend this place to anyone wanting dinner and a fado show.

We had a super table facing the singers. The service was very attentiv and friendly and the food was excellent. We very much enjoyed the Fado songs, the singers were very good they were so emotional. A fantastic memory to Lisboa

This was a great evening out - my first real fado experience even though I've been to Lisbon many times. The singers were excellent, the food was average and expensive (but I guess we're paying for the entertainment, which is OK). My main meal was inedible - I complained as they took my (almost full) plate away but they still... More

I was told that it was a place to go for traditional Fado and good food in Lisbon so I decided to visit on my first visit to the city. To be honest I am slightly confused about the whole experience. Unassuming outside with a very welcoming attitude from the staff. We were told not to rush as it was... More

My friends & I visited this place at the very end of April. We expect to have just a dinner & just a Fado show. Actually we had super-dinner and super-show! So glad that we've booked the table beforehand - there were no single free table that night! Food was really great - and service, and food presentation as well.... More

The venue is tasteful, service attentive and the menu varied. Wine was rather overpriced. The musicians were first rate as were the four singers. It was a memorable and enjoyable evening.
