We visited Aura in May we were in Lisbon for 4 weeks and visited almost everyday. We have been to Lisbon Many times but had never eaten here and we are so so glad we finally did. The food is AMAZING and the service is...even better. Top Notch all around. Everyone is great from the Hostess to the Bar Staff, Wait staff and the Manager Mohammad they are all so friendly and and pleasant to be around all while enjoying great food and drinks. After being in Lisbon in May I returned in July with my family where of course our first stop was Aura. It has now become a family favorite and we can’t wait to return next year. Definitely recommend Aura to anyone who is looking to have the best possible experience while in Lisbon. You won’t be disappointed.More

1. of all the Menu is dirty and sticky which does not provide a safe feeling during covid-19 crisis. 2. The food was terrible. My „crispy bacon“ was not even cooked and still cold from the fridge. Also the Salad looked old. 3. The Service...was not even looking at us. after we have finished with our lunch, we waited for 30 Minutes for them to clean the table, which only happend when i ordered the check. Dont go!More

We visited the aura in Lisbon in the late afternoon. We were able to get a seat on the outside terrace. The place there is of course very nice and you have a great view. Unfortunately it was almost the same with the positive reports....To be fair, you have to say that the food was ok there. Of course it is a bit higher in price, but it is also right in the tourist center. Unfortunately, the service was an absolute disaster. From the beginning to the end you were almost only ignored or ignored. The waitresses were very rude and pampy, very slow and lazy. There wasn't even a lot going on that day, so you could blame it on the advent of customers. It was asked once if we need something to drink. After our meal we were allowed to wait 25 minutes for our bill. Until then we were completely ignored. Luckily there was a small fashion show next door, so you had at least some entertainment during the long waiting time.More

Just an awful tourist trap restaurant. Don't believe the rubbish the head chef writes in the blurb on the menu....kids meals were dry and cheap, and the veggie quiche had ham in it! Don't bother - theres much better in Lisbon!!!!

Wow, perfect at every step. The vibe is calming, yet with the perfect undercurrent of upbeat tempo. The food is to die for. The features in the restaurant are truly authentic and mesmerising. True art from start to desert. Hats off to both the creators...and team at Aura.More

Good honest food & friendly, attentive staff, what more could you ask for? The restaurant spills out into the Square giving you a view of the both the sea and the beauty of the entire square. A definite spot to enjoy at any time of...the dayMore

We ate here on Oct17 2019 and I could not recommend it to anyone Firstly we were waiting a long time for our order. The staff were pleasant but it ended there I am afraid. We were charged €14.80 for a plate of Shrimp in...garlic butter. On the menu it looked a substantial meal but when it eventually arrived there were 5 Shrimp ! That makes it almost €3 a shrimp! We were still hungry so we ordered another item which forty minutes later had not arrived ! We asked for our bill and when it arrived they had charged us for the item and tried to persuade us we had eaten it! When we queried it they were most unpleasant. Their toilets were the filthiest I have visited in awhile. For a supposed top rate restaurant I was appalled. When we spoke to the manager he did apologise and gave us our money back in full which was nice of him. I could not recommend this restaurant in any way and my advice is to steer clear. Our visit to Lisbon otherwise was amazingMore

We had eaten at several of the restaurants serving tourists (which we were!), and on our last night happened on Aura at a time when we wanted to eat inside. We were pleasantly surprised at what we found, since there was no hint of the...decor or ambiance if you looked at the outside seating. Aura's decor is an interesting mix of classical, including a Roman style statue that dominates the middle of the dining room and a couple of busts that look like French royalty, and upscale. Although many of the tables were taken, it was pleasantly quiet compared to the noisy vibe of eating outside or in a more confined space. The food was very good, from the veal croquettes appetizer to the apple dessert. The service was good, although our initial server disappeared sometime during the meal, to be replaced by another. Overall, it was a nice change.More
