Phenomenal experience. From the head chef to the sommelier to the bussers, everyone made this night perfect. Best dinner of the trip (and we went to plenty of amazing places) and the cherry on top is that they will cater to any allergies and dietary...restrictions. If you ever go to Portugal, you MUST eat here.More

We made a reservation, and were very excited towards it. Unfortunately due to COVID circumstances our flight got delayed and we arrived to Lisbon much later than expected with no mobile reception in order to inform on our delay. When we got mobile we noticed...we got an email from the restaurant saying we got charged over 150€ because of not showing. Very understood, but when we replied and tried to explain this was due to flight delay and not in our power to control, we got a cold answer saying that is their cancellation policy and there is nothing to be done about it. I think there’s a more thoughtful way to treat your potential costumers, and I know I would never go there when this is the level of service that is offeredMore

We did the 7 course vegetarian tasting. It was fantastic and we were stuffed by the end of the night. The restaurant is in a nice hotel overlooking the river, so we were treated to a nice sunset. It was a very intimate experience and...were well taken care of.More

We visited Feitoria on our first night in Portugal at the start of a week-long trip. Throughout our trip, we dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants. This meal simply did not stand out by the end of the journey. It felt status quo compared to its...Michelin peers and even other restaurants that were not Michelin rated. Solid, tasty meal, but it didn't present anything new. My partner and I felt that the wine was the real star of the show and the views if your reservation is early enough to enjoy the sunset.More

What an amazing experience , one of us is vegetarian and the other vegan and so this was a celebration of the vegetable. First the restaurant took the vegan tasting menu in their stride, it was no issue for them and they created amazing food....The dishes were creative and clever, the food tasted amazing and balanced and the wine pairing was exceptional. Highlights are; Avocado on half lime Tempura kale Carrots and Cumin Baked salt sweet potatoes The aged asparagus I could go on and on, also for wine The matured user the sea at 10,000 feet red was amazing (label attached) A fantastic experience , I hope we get to returnMore

Elegant in its entrance and into its refined and modern dining area, Feitoria is a touch to all the senses. If you go, do it right with the 6 plates and wine pairing. Our waitress Anna was a joy to have and Pedro the sommolier...knew his vinhos. The dishes were as beautiful as the little gifts of food they bore and tasted as good as they looked. Along with a nice box of chocolate truffles and such, Anna presented me with a bottle of their very own Rosamonte piqual olive oil which she knew I adored. Thank you for a wonderful experience.More

Located in the Altis Belém Hotel & Spa, Restaurante Feitoria features the cooking of Chef João Rodrigues, a one-time aspiring Marine Biologist whose cooking is ingredient focused yet provocative across nine "moments" as guests look out at the river nearby. Currently awarded one-star by Michelin,...and thus less crowded than centrally located Alma or Belcanto, it is upon entry that guests are led to tables with white linens while ambient music plays above modern decoration. Hard wood and well-spaced, clean lines with spotlighting placing the focus on plates often preceded by Ingredients or tableside preparation, it was alongside a glass of Bubbles that dinner began in seven bites called “Sharing,” Barnacles a special treat while Hamachi atop Citrus, fried bites of Fish and scooped Sweet Potato with tangy Sauce were also memorable. Next offered housemade Bread flanked by two types of local Butter and Chef Rodrigues’ signature Olive Oil, a temptation through to Dessert, course two featured Carrots and Tomatoes presented with elegance while its follow-up offered Tuna in three parts including a Tartare beneath Caviar and lightly grilled Heart. Presenting the next dish as a thought-provoker, the “white” of Broccoli Stems turned into a taste and texture akin to Bone Marrow via aging and steam pressure, “Garden” placed creamy Pumpkin in an aromatic Cheese Foam with great depth and balance. Again challenging convention with “Vegetable/Animal,” a Squash Blossom stuffed with tiny Shrimp replacing the Cephalopod of a Squid, “Depth” steps back to pure product as the day’s catch came perfectly cooked with a bit if Rice, Roe and Sauce. Modern, yet rooted in tradition, the final savory saw Pigeon carved tableside and plated with Mushrooms before two texturally compelling Fruit-based Desserts and a textbook Pastel de Nata that forms a fitting end to a meal that is Ingredient focused, innovative and bargain priced.More

We should have left after the first course. We expressed our disappointment with the first course, yet the chef didn't come over to speak to us. Either arrogant, scared or the real chef wasn't in the building. Lots of pomp and ceremony but the quality...of the food wasn't great. At that price, the food should have been amazing. Also, very pretentious, each course was called a moment. There was no theater or anything to evoke a "moment". The wine pairing did not match the food. Probably the worst tasting menu I've ever had.More

Wow, so where to begin with this place. Firstly, we love tasting menus and fine dining and have never felt so short changed. If you want to get that authentic Lisbon pick pocketed experience withdraw €350 and leave it in your back pocket on the...metro... you'll get more for your money than here. Summary: First moment was oil x2, no bread, no wine, nothing... we waited 30 mins and then got some butter Moment 2 (we assume..) was some radishes and turnips uncooked on ice, some humous and the blessed bread! haleuiljah for bread.. but no wine? At this point we had been there for over an hour. I asked if we had not ordered the flight of wine properly and was told it didn't start until the next course, so that is 70 mins in. We did joke we were meant to lick up the oil... seems we weren't far wrong. Next 5-8 moments were no food with badly paired wine. At every point we commented on the odd food choice (concept = eat natural e.g. don't complain) or wine pairing (concept = the glass is the experience), we were given shorter and shorter shrift. The chef clearly wasn't there, we sent a few dishes back uneaten and no one came out to ask why.. Summary, don't go, lazy and clearly lost the star for a reason. There are so much better restaurants in Lisbon that will cost you half as much. Don't make our mistake kids!More

Truly fantastic restaurant. The service was perfect, well balanced, ideal timing. The dishes were all delicious (especially in the materia menu) with a combination originality and enhanced standards. The wine pairing was amazing even though I was (until this evening) very skeptical about Portuguese wine....We did a few one, two and three michelin stars in France and I have a hard time remembering a better experience. Thanks for the experience, we hope to be back soon.More

Fantastic 1-star restaurant. Best experience in Lisbon. Someone previously said the service was bad - that’s totally WRONG or simply bad luck, we were treated like never before. First, the service experience was great, nice sommelier, a lot of show before serving certain dishes, cozy...atmosphere. Second, the food was delicious. We took the 10-course menu and did not regret it. It was a lot but in small portions so we ended 100% (maybe 105%) full, but not more. Lot of seafood, which is a must in Lisbon. Took a glass of white wine (vino verdes, not a big fan), red wine (good one, but found it expensive for Portuguese wine) and the house muscatel (sweet wine) in the end, which was sublime. The only thing that requires improvement is the dessert, but I guess Portugal is just not used to have fancy desserts (eat pasteis de Belem instead). The first dessert with cucumber was awkward. I celebrated my birthday and was given a small cake in the end which was way more tastier than the cucumber dessert. To finish, we had visited one day after the Fifty Seconds (which is the other best 1-michelin in Lisbon). If you are in Lisbon and must choose only one Michelin, would recommend choosing Feitoria as it’s less glam and more fun.More
