After a tire morning we stopped here for lunch and the waitress was kind enough to let us know that it wold be 40 minutes for the food because of it being crowded. That was nice of her, but the wait was shorter. Can't say this is the best food, but it is very typical and well presented. Bot the... More

It was the worst restaurant that we went in whole Lisbon. The food was badly cooked, still the olives had a very bad taste. The meat was like a chewing gum, the fries potatoes were precoocked and the scrambled eggs tasted like a vomit (it was full of sausage fat) . Unfortunately we spend our money and time in a... More

When you stroll around Amalfa defently you will cross that restaurant . Tge atmosphere is typically Portuguese and the food delicious. The pastels of bachallau are the must! A little bit slow service but who cares?

We stopped in on a whim because it was close to our airbnb and looked very cute. The staff was incredibly friendly and spoke english very well. The food was DELICIOUS. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly and my wife had a huge stack of crab and zucchini. Afterwards they gave us a shot of cherry liquor in... More

Tucked into a street only wide enough for a tramcar, in the Alfama, this restaurant offered flavoursome Portuguese cuisine and exceptional ambiance. Claudia, our waitress of the evening, patiently explained the menu. We were thrilled by the quality of the grilled salmon and squid, and the steak we ordered. A final touch was the enjoyment of a small chocolate liqueur... More

We ate lunch on Sunday at our recent visit to Lisbon, my wife had grilled salmon and I had steak (they were out of the rabbit). Both dishes were done very well with vegetables! The hostess spoke very good English and recommended a bottle of wine that went perfect with our meal. For dessert we had chocolate cake and chocolate... More

Just had a very good lunch: grilled salmon. It came with boiled potatoes, but I opted for French fries, broccoli and carrot. It was delicious! And I had chocolate mousse for dessert. Yum! Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant was real value for money. Good friendly service and totally scrumptious. We had the Bacalhau a Bras which was well cooked and presented. The sardines were perfectly seasoned. The seafood salad was also really yummy.

This restaurant is the definition of "good". It ticks all the boxes and has a decent selection of all the usual Portuguese dishes on the menu. On top of that there is really not much to say, other than that the cooking is competent and the decor is very "restaurant-like" as one would typically expect. I can recommend this place... More

We took our lunch there, with no other recommendations, after the visit at Jeronimos Monastery, and it was the best choice, ever...I ate there the best octopus in my life and for sure I'll get back there next time when I'm going again in Lisbon; the waiters where very nice and we stayed outside, close to the river. The best... More

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighborhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
