This quaint wine bar has a reasonable selection of local wines and dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you have to choose the wine and even lets you taste several bottles before making a choice. The dishes where above average : good presentation, good tastes, rather small and sometimes a bit dry. A little bit of sauce... More

Tolles Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis!! Tolle Weine, excellente Beratung! Überraschende Geschmackskombinationen beim Essen! This is an Enoteca run by people who love their job!! The foie gras is great! Next time we will come back!!

Our favorite meal in Lisbon. Had high expectations after reading the reviews, and we were not disappointed. Seafood was all fresh and delicious. This was by far the best octopus we had. A soup, starter, and two entrees left us with no room for dessert. Although we didn’t take advantage of the binocular wine selection process, our waiter’s wine recommendations... More

Super convenient location close to the principal Belem sights. Short but imaginative menu with great choice of wines. Knowledgable sommelier with very pleasant and friendly manner.

This was the best meal we've had in Lisbon. Between the food and the service, you cannot go wrong. It was absolutely delicious. A similar experience would cost you two to three times in NYC or Washington DC. Also, a great way to discover Portuguese wine!

We spent a wonderful evening at the Enoteca de Belem. Paired with a delicious wine, the fine cooking and the quiet spot made for a very memorable experience. Would recommend it to any couple visiting Lisbon.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor+google reviews and we really had a great wine-food experience. Every dish, from starters to desserts, was very accurate, tasty and looking awesome! We completely trusted Nelson, a professionist of wine, letting him choose our glasses of wine and it was a very interesting tasting. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are... We walked in to Enoteca de Belem one evening after reading a Trip Advisor review but alas, no tables! Fortunately the next evening we were able to book and this was one of the loveliest, most peaceful and well served meals I have ever had. My husband's steak was perfect and my lamb chops were the best I have had... More

This small diamond is located in a narrow street in Belem, the ambience is very warm and charmy, the cuisine style it's "simply" awesome, beautiful presentation & amazing combination of ingredients, the chef is very talented. But that could be the description of a very good restaurants... until you meet Nelson, the Sommelier. He brought us in a wonderful journey... More

Staying in Belem

Neighborhood Profile
Belem
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
