We found this restaurant on trip advisor+google reviews and we really had a great wine-food experience. Every dish, from starters to desserts, was very accurate, tasty and looking awesome! We completely trusted Nelson, a professionist of wine, letting him choose our glasses of wine and it was a very interesting tasting. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are... We walked in to Enoteca de Belem one evening after reading a Trip Advisor review but alas, no tables! Fortunately the next evening we were able to book and this was one of the loveliest, most peaceful and well served meals I have ever had. My husband's steak was perfect and my lamb chops were the best I have had... More

This small diamond is located in a narrow street in Belem, the ambience is very warm and charmy, the cuisine style it's "simply" awesome, beautiful presentation & amazing combination of ingredients, the chef is very talented. But that could be the description of a very good restaurants... until you meet Nelson, the Sommelier. He brought us in a wonderful journey... More

I thought I'd be having cheese and charcuterie for lunch, but the place turns out to be much more of a restaurant than I thought. Very good sophisticated food, and the wine selection is excellent. Wines are €4.5 by the glass and €22 by bottle. The port selection is great too. Overall, a great place to have lunch when visiting... More

The reviewer below who suggested the restaurant staff might have acted with racial motivations can rest with peace of mind: I don't think the restaurant staff are racist. I think they are terrible at seizing opportunities to make money and form good impressions of their restaurant. My partner and I arrived at Enoteca hoping to have a glass of wine... More

I wanted to avoid the touristy restaurants in Belem, so I tried a few side streets to see what restaurants were there (I didnt have a working cell phone with Trip Advisor installed). We found Enoteca of Belem between the Tram 15 stop and the major attractions of Belem The tartate and octopus were excellent. If you want a real... More

My less than favorable rating is because I was turned away when the restaurant was completely empty except for 2 people at the bar. I came at 6 pm and a heavy-set server told me that the restaurant had reservations for the remainder of the night. He told me that I could that perhaps around 8:30 there would be a... More

Intimate atmosphere as there are perhaps 8 tables, total. The food is exquisite and the service exceptional.

The "Enoteca de Belém" - Wine Bar, a place dedicated to experimentation and to be a meeting place, for people and flavours, in an artistic and cultural atmosphere inherent to the Travessa da Ermida project and its spaces, puts the bet on the promotion of the national wine and gastronomic culture. Staying in Belem

Neighborhood Profile
Belem
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
