A small family run restaurant in a back street just off Martim Moniz square. We had the Bhaji followed by the Chicken Xacuti and Vegetarian curries, all of which were incredible - would highly recommend!

Went to have a look at this restaurant after reading about it on TripAdvisor. Was a bit unsure as I couldn't find a menu in English online, plus the location isn't that attractive. Wow am I glad we went in though. Food was beautiful and...they do have a menu in English. Well worth the visit!More

Tried the Prawn Masala and Pork Vindaloo. Both were really tasty and authentic. Prawn Masala was rated medium spicy but was actually pretty spicy but fantastic. Amazing find. Good way to switch up from delicious but mostly low spice, Portuguese cuisine

We were recommended this restaurant by our host and we weren’t disappointed. Exotic flavours from a fabulous menu, small place with a kind welcome. Reasonable size wine selection also. Thanks Maria. Travelling Aussies

This place was terrible!! What an unbelievable disappointment. My spouse and I are both of Goan descent and were excited to try this place after we tried a different Goan restaurant a few days earlier. We wished we had just gone back to the first...Goan restaurant we tried (which was amazing). I ordered the sausages which were an insult to Goa on many levels. The texture was terrible, clearly overground pork, and tasted almost entirely of vinegar. The dish needed salt to say the least. The samosas were burnt, mediocre in flavor. The crab curry had good quality crab, but again mediocre in flavor. The chapatis were also lack luster. I seriously think they took pictures of Goan food from an image search and try to pass it off as their own. Don’t go here, try one of the other Goan restaurants in the city.More

I really like Goa and it smells and tastes. I went several times to India and Goa. India is my first leisure travel destination. This is a small restaurant, and you must book ahead preferebly. The owner is a portuguese lady, married with a Goan...natural gentleman. The food is superb and the staff very friendly. We eat Shrimps Byrianni rice and Sarapatel. Kingfisher beer. Bojas and papari as starter. Bebinca as dessert.More

We were staying in an Airbnb on this little side street in Lisbon when a charming young lady standing outside a modest restaurant greeted us in English. The next day she was there again and we decided to enter. She gave us a table near...a front window in the tiny place. The food was excellent, cooked by her mother she said. Altogether a pleasant experience in an out of the way place.More

Get your Google Maps out to find this place down a narrow alley. You won’t be disappointed. We had Goan fish curry—a whole fish steak cooked perfectly—and the shrimp samosas for an appetizer. One of the most memorable dining experiences you are likely to have....Staff was attentive despite the tiny restaurant being packed.More
