Food was ok, service was ok, but when it came to paying they asked were we are from and adjusted the price. Service is extra paid, bread which you never ordered is paid extra. We have ordered a seafood plate for 2, which does not...have price in the menu - I have learnt my lesson the hard way. The plate cost 85 euro and definitely was not worth it. Avoid, avoid, avoid, plenty of nice places around.More

This unfortunately is a tale of two halves. Our Waiter (Miguel) was excellent. Our food was spectacular, the best lamb chops I have ever tasted in my life (I am drooling just thinking about them again), my wife had steak in mushroom sauce, she enjoyed...it. There was bread added to our bill, but when we pointed out that we didn't order it, or touch it, it was deducted without any issue and we got a lovely apology. All in all a great experience. This should have been an easy 5 Star review. Well no, not really. >> Behind us sat an American lady, dining alone. One of the waiters took this as a que to share his life story, He's split up from his wife, he's fighting for his kids, sounds admirable until he decided to share how he likes to sleep around Lisbon with the ladies, his exact words "you know how it is, some people like Burger King, some people like McDonald's". This went on for the full length of our meal, I could literally just type and type here, but it's making me angry reliving this. As soon as this guy stopped harassing this Lady (a manager spotted him and called him aside) she was out of her chair and gone as fast as her legs could carry her, us too! It's 2021, this is unacceptable behavior. It goes beyond unprofessional; it's full-on harassment. If anyone said even 10% of what this clown to this lady, in my workplace, they would be gone, in a heartbeat.More

We normally tend to avoid those restaurants that send out the staff members with menu to attract the tourists because they were often obnoxious and could be a great source of tourist rip-off. We wanted to try the restaurants frequented by the locals. One evening,...we were so hungry and decided to try one of those "touristy" restaurants close to our hotel. My friend wanted a Portuguese seafood dish while I wanted a vegetarian dish. The first restaurant we went regretted not having vegetarian dish of my choice. We walked by this restaurant and were approached by a courteous staff member. When asked, they quickly procured the menu with several vegetarian dishes so we decided to have dinner there. My friend had a bowl of steamed mussels, clams, and shrimps with paelle. I had a vegetarian paelle. We agreed that the dishes were very delicious, well-prepared, and filling. The service was excellent and attentive without being obsequious and overbearing. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to order more items such as appetisers and desserts. One of the classical tourist rip-offs is to bring an appetiser plates, breads, and such as "complimentary" then charge the tourists if they touch any item on the plate. This restaurant didn't do any of that. The price is very reasonable for this type of restaurant and cuisine. Would definitely stop by next time I am in Lisboa!More

I would rater talk about the food, but watch out for the bread, chease, butter and sardine pate that they put on the table. Send it back what looks like less than €5 euros worth stuff is over €20 on the bill. If you turn...that down he will offer an aperitif of some of port in a very small glass again the price is not mentioned as it will appear on your bill at €3.95 in my case. The food was OK, the only reason why I didn't rate it lower as people as I want as many people to read this as possible as these are very under hand practices.More

Warm welcome, great fish; we had the mixed fish grill which they changed to accommodate our tastes. Good advice with the wine. A good ambience and quite well used - a good sign in late November. Would happily come again.

This restaurant was recommend by one of our friends in Lisbon. We were extremely impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. We are from the east coast of Canada and enjoy Bacalhau in Canada. Have to say we ordered the grilled Bacalhau and...it was one of the best we ever had. The portion was Hugh. Our waiter Miguel was so friendly friendly and attentive. Recommend this restaurant.... you will not go wrong.More

Heed the warnings of previous reviewers. We had exactly the same experience, Our meal consisting of one fish dish, one small salad, a sparkling water and 2 cans of coke was over 40 Euro. We were charged for bread we didn't order. The food wasn't...terrible but it wasn't spectacular either. However, they included enough small charges that it padded the bill to nearly twice as much as it should have been (not to mention nearly doubling the price of the fish dish vs. the menu price) PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACEMore
