The staff were not friendly. The coffee and pastries were high priced. The wifi was not working. The seating and decor were very nice and modern. Not typical Portuguese coffee shop...more like a Starbucks.
Nice Bistro/Restaurant in the basement of an old portuguese house. They have a good choice of fresh baguettes, sandwiches and cakes. Also the coffee is tastes very good.
Bit of a strange one here. Initial impressions are great, the spot is lovely but followed by some severe ostentatious flaws. First and foremost we found the staff to be inimical which made for an uncomfortable stay. Used to Portuguese prices we were stupefied at...how expensive everything was. When we were served barely warm coffee destitute of taste the staff were not at all amenable about changing them refuting our claim and making up excuses about the coffee being bitter if hot. Overall not a particularly amicable experience. Will not be going back.More
There is much better in Lisbon. Terrible service, not one smile. Slow service Way over priced for poor quality. Avoid.
My daughter and I came across this place by chance and what a find. It’s very relaxed and the food and coffee was great. We liked it so much we went back for breakfast on our last day in Lisbon.
Dropped by this place when we’re on our way back to Lisbon city center. We visited around noon so there were not so many tourists. Could enjoy the quietness and coffee and had quality time there!
Quality of service and product do not fit the prices. It's adequate for tourists willing to pay more than they can get. If you want to verify, just look around before getting in this place and compare.
Happened upon this bakery as we were walking along the Tram 28 line in Alfama. Excellent treat! Found another one by the monastery and had some more treats there!
Great breakfast spot, lots of choice yoghurt and granola pots, overnight oats, freshly baked bread and pastries, breakfast plates with meats and eggs! Coffee is really nice, Americanos are reasonably priced, other coffees a little more expensive than you might pay elsewhere! Variety of teas served...in good sized mugs. Plenty of options for lunch too, with sandwich’s and baguettes on freshly baked bread and rolls. Easy going and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth dropping into to pass some time; take away food and coffees also available for those in a hurry.More
