Went in this place which was just down the street where I stayed. Food was ok, had a bacalhau a bras (quite salty) for 11.50, a glass of white costs 3.50 (expensive), a bread for a euro and a small cheese for another 3! I guess I was still quite lucky as I've seen other reviewers being ripped off much... More

Atmospere was excellent. Very good fadistas, all family members singing. Sometimes in kitschin, then serving ang singing. Food was ok.

We had dinner here early May 2016, and were awed by the musicality of the fado singers, who are all employees of the restaurant. The guitars were faultless, and the singing had great soul. We ate bacalhau, prepared on the grill as well as the classic boiled, and also an excellent grilled chicken. The house whites and reds are very... More

The food is ery bad and low Quality but the waiters sing well, check the bill at least three times. They are not very fair. Don't accept appetizers as they cost a lot

The restaurant looked like a local hangout and we were right. We arrived early and secured our table. By the time we left, there was quite a waiting line outside. The Fado singers and guitarists made our evening. The food was just O.K. Tables very crowded because of its popularity and you have little private space. I wanted the stuffed... More

We had set out to hear Fado and to have a local experience. When we came upon this place it was full of locals so we went in and ordered our food. We did decline the appetizers because we were not that hungry and not because of the cost. We did order a bottle of wine as well as our... More

My wife and I happened onto this place without reading any review and quite frankly enjoyed the music and the food. Funny how two groups can have two different experiences from one restaurant. Here is our story . . . .We split the monk fish with prawns and rice and had a double salad, bread with cheese and got out... More

Very nasty food, bad wine and the Bill was very high. The appetizer that you don't order but stands on the tabel cost 13 euro! When you ask something about it, rude staff. Stay away from this place.

We enjoyed it here but were careful not to order the port and to decline any appetizers we hadn't ordered. The food was ok and very filling, however they were very keen to whisk plates away and less keen to bring the bill. The fado was worth hearing especially the lady singers and the musicians, the male singer seemed offended... More

We came there for fado and tapas. Before entering we asked, if we can just take tapas and sth to drink and they agreed. We ate, listened and after- asked for a bill. We waited about twenty minutes, although waiters were doing nothing. Then came the bill: bread (each piece 0,75 euro), 0,375 bottle of average home wine -10 euro.... More
