We stayed at an Airbnb right next door to this hidden gem. The service was okay (woman was a bit rude). We selected an amazing Douro 2014 wine for 15 £uros. We enjoyed the inside of this location and the bossa nova playing in the background! We would return!

In Lisbon for a long week-end with friends from Norway. I had been here before and remembered it as an interesting place (architecture) with very interesting wines. I see mixed reviews from other visitors but we loved it. I unfortunately started out by insulting Gernas to the German host (!!!!) but that did not put a damper on the evening.... More

This was 100 m away from our hotel (Botanico). The staff were great, very friendly. We had appetizers and wine when we went, which was every day for the 3 days we were there! The staff were always happy to help with wine or food pairing suggestions, they sat and chatted with us. We referred our friends they and they... More

It was difficult to find this place because you always expect to see big signs. Anyhow in a rainy evening it was nice to have dinner with pairing. I took the menu with wines and did have some extra as well and I had to buy one pinot noir which was special. Portions of food are small enough and some... More

Beautiful and unique setting/interior. We opted for the tasting menu which was superbly paired with regional wines. Our excellent server provided an informative description of each wine pairing.

Beautifully built wine bar making full use of the building it has occupied, serving excellent wine in atmospheric surroundings. Welcome was desultory to say the least however, so not the first choice for a future visit.

This was recommended by our hotel and we were so glad we went. A very unusual location - formerly part of the city water supply - the thick stone walls give this wine bar a distinctive atmosphere. Combining interesting Portuguese wines with beautifully made tapas, this wine bar is a highlight of Lisbon.

I was here on the coldest January for 50 years, or so people said! It was very quiet that evening, I was on my own upstairs like a monk, and downstairs a group from Germany. I thoroughly enjoyed the platter of food to accompany the wine, and the wine was simply delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Foz Torto, which I... More

And for a place thats specialise in wine's i would have expected more. Overmore the food we ordered sounded great but when we received it the looks wasnt appealing and the taste... More
