We went there for dinner with a group of about 25 people. The set menu was very good but the main value was the floor show. Two Fado performers came that evening, a man and a woman, accompanied by the same guitar players. The woman...More

The set up was good for the food and Fado show.. As dinner proceeded Fado performers came in and performed various songs. Good atmosphere, a lot of locals eating there. This was obvious as many of them could sing along with the Fado songs. A...More

went here as part of a tour group. The food was very good as the Maine meal was comprised of a tasting of various specialties of the area. Enjoyed the unlimited wine with dinner. The Fado entertainment was three separate singers and they were all...More

We read (on golisbon.com) that this was one of the less touristy Fado clubs. That was not our experience, quite the opposite. The night we went, there were two large tour groups. The Fado shows consisted of a male singer for two songs, then a...More

Thoroughly enjoyed the Fado here and the meal was good. It is a little touristy but it's not trashy at all and worth going for the Fado, which was excellent. Based in the Alfama area.

Overall you get a wonderful settimg near the Cathedral. But the food is simply average and for the city standards, expensive. The housewine is below average. Service again is very good. Fado is OK. The average evening meal plus fado will cost you about 45-50...More
