I'm a big fan of Jamie and was over the moon when we made it to the restaurant.... we could even find a table even without reservation (but only outside which was fine with the warm "lamps" and it was wind proof) First we had...to wait for like 10-15mins before we even could order drinks... then another 10-15mins before they were delivered... i don't understand why ? Once people have drinks, it's much easier to wait... our starters were great, we had the raviolis and the croquettes.. unfortunately our main courses were not really tasty.. my burger was quite lame, chips ok and my boyfriends lasagne was boring too. Prices fair and location and restaurant ok too but i expected more.More

As an Italian and cook, I am not sure I can express how disappointed i am. I ordered fritto misto, which, first, didn’t even have the traditional fishes this dish requires, and second, had the presentation and the taste of a dish you can eat...at an high school cafeteria. The following dish, carbonara, had cream so dry you could barely name it sauce, so the pasta and the sauce did stick together as a brick (leaving the fact that Italian carbonara does not include cream but only yolk eggs). The pavlova was only meringue (too sweet) with some fruits. I would finally say that the menu is fancy but the quality of the dishes is mediocre, and I’m being generous. To conclude, I highly recommend going to any traditional Italian restaurant instead, you will taste the real Italian cooking.More

I've eaten here twice now and want to come back again. Service is attentive and very friendly. Crispy ravioli and a tomato sauce startwer was amazing. Had a Calzone for main and raspberry pavlova for dessert (delicious)!! My partner had great food also. Highly recommended,...nice outdoor terrace was lovely with pretty view. I think the price was very good!More

Over the years I've eaten at Jamie's Italian in different locations around the world (from the UK to Thailand) and was happy to see that they had a restaurant in Lisbon since all of the locations in the UK have closed. Unfortunately, this franchise left...a lot to be desired. It all started with the appetizers. We ordered 2 identical charcuterie boards and one of them arrived missing a bunch of ingredients. When we showed our waitress, she said they looked different because 2 different chefs had made them. It wasn't until I started pointing out all of the things (prosciutto, cheese, crakers) that were missing from my board that she realized we were right. No apology - just took it over to the open kitchen and the chef threw on *some* of the missing ingredients. Pizza was fine. Then we got the same bill two times from two different staffers. A very 'meh' dinner experience. Would not return.More

My boyfriend and I visited here and it was incredible. I had the prawn linguine and my boyfriend had the sirloin steak with sweet potato fries. For starter we had the ultimate garlic bread (and it was ULTIMATE, the best garlic bread we’ve ever had)...and the crispy squid. For dessert we had the mellefeule. Every single thing was incredible. My boyfriend even said the best meal of his life!! The staff were lovely as well! Amazing!More

I never felt more appreciated and excited to have found a restaurant before. My waiter was absolutely amazing! It was my birthday and they surprised me with an amazing birthday celebration. It was incredible, the food was absolutely beautiful and the restaurant is stunning. They...treat you like family and not like a tourist. I had the most amazing birthday.More

It's way better than Italian chain restaurants, but it's not as good as a good family Italian restaurant. It's a bit too corporate for that. For example, the sangria is poured from a beer tap. Not bad, but only a bit of fruit thrown in...after the glass or carafe is filled. I had two dinners, both pastas. The shrimp and clam risotto was much better than the tagliatelle carbonara which was fine but nothing special. The shrimp were plentiful, plump, and juicy with great flavor. The risotto was cooked perfectly. Garlic bread is a weird, spongy bread, not toasty at all. Pizzas are okay, nothing special. It's a mixed bag. Service is friendly but rushed. The decor is a little on the bright side, but tasteful overall. Tables are quite close together. One gets the impression that everything is designed to make money as efficiently as possible. Why go to Portugal to get just decent Italian food? But if you crave Italian, then this place will probably satisfy you. And the prices are quite good.More

Last week I went to Lisbon with friends and we had an amazing experience in this restaurant. Although we were a big group, it can be for families or ideal for a couples. Besides, it has a cosy roof which you can have great views...of the city. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering starters followed by the main course. They were exquisite. Pasta, pizza or even salads were incredible! Although we were so full, we order dessert, which were quite tasty. In addition the service was very high quality, so nice and the waiter who attend us was super kind with all of us. So, because of the brilliant atmosphere, delicious food service and amazing waiters, we highly recommend going to Jamie's Italian restaurant.More
