Magnificent, BEST meal and experience of my two week vacation. I purchased tickets ($250 Euros) a couple months in advance hoping to try Portugal celebrity chef Jose Avillez menus. This is his newest venture. 14 course tasting dinner and live entertainment. A tidbit: The chefs'...More

I was skeptical about coming here since I wasn't sure if it would be my kind of thing, but I wound up having a blast and 100% convinced by what they're doing here. It might have been the highlight of an all-around great bachelor party...More

Run, don't walk to Jose Avillez's cabaret show. From the first steps behind the hidden bookcase door, you are transported into another era. The tasting menu had inventive and tasty dishes. Drinks were potent and delicious! The show was entertaining and really feed's off of...More

Beco is indeed a Jose Avillez place - dare to expect a lot from the tasting menu. And still, it might be better than expected! I was worried that the show & dinner concept would downgrade both the show and the dinner - but rest...More

This was a fun and entertaining experience for my wife and I on our last night in Lisbon. The entertainment was really fun and the location was very cool. The food was good as well and was thoughtfully prepared and presented.

I brought my boyfriend as a surprise for his birthday and I left not feeling good about the experience. Food was great, comedy was okay but it's literally cabaret for the men! I felt like the performances were not balanced for men and women guests....More
