The variety is not too many but display n quality is top notch. We end up trying 5 different kinds of cake for afternoon tea because they are so pretty.

I went around trying all the desserts at random places as you should in Lisbon and found Alcoa. Truly a One perfect stop for dessert in Lisbon.

In general is a good pastelaria and their pasteis are top notch. However their other pastries are not my taste. Some people find it good.

Here are the best pastel de nata. O bought from distinct places from LISBON(including Belem,the famous pastelalaria next to Jeronimo monastery),but here at ALCOA is the most delocious pastel de nata. Try it!!you won't get enough after you taste it.

Look the Portuguese custard tarts, these are very nice indeed. Other pastries too look amazing. An indulgent treat but worth it.

The confections are eye candy, many that we have never seen beforehand. We stayed across the street from the Chiado store. My husband would go there in the morning and return with a small yellow box of surprises.
