Tourist trap at its best. .. We came across this very cute restaurant which at the time looked like it had potential. We ordered green peppers =9€ patatas bravas ( which turned out to be about 10 fried pieces of potato chopped into cubes with a mix of mayo and ketchup sauce) =6,50€ and a sausage cut into 3 pieces... It couldn't be worse, the food was so awful that we didn't eat it all, afterwards we had both, me and my gf, stomach problems and we had to .... . It was really a big nightmare. The prices are so high that I was shocked when I saw the bill and that by a very disgusting food. The restaurant... More

Went there last Saturday at around 9pm, it was very busy outside lots of people sitting and eating on the steps which didnt really appeal to me, however once we got to the door the Lady taking the reservations offered us a table outside or inside. Service was friendly and the music was great! After asking our waiter we ordered... More

I rarely feel irritated enough by a place to remember to leave a bad review but this place was ridiculous on so many levels. The seating on the streets was absolutely packed and it looked like a good atmosphere so we thought we'd give it a go. The front of house woman made ZERO effort to welcome us or suggest... More

Normally I never leave a review if I'm not satisfied with the service provided, but this place just needs to be mentioned. At the first sight it's such an inviting restaurant in a nice area and a huge selection of tapas. But if you decide to stay for a dinner, you might really leave unsatisfied or even a little frustrated,... More

We visited twice its very good. We found the staff polite, patient and helpful. It can work out expensive when you're ordering a few different dishes but always good value and freshly cooked. We met lots of friendly people here from other countries and the street entertainment made it a fun and vibrant place to eat/drink.

Strolling the streets of Bairro alta looking for a nice place for dinner we liked the look of this place with lots of tables on the steps etc. However we went inside as they were all full and inside is very quaint. The tapas were good except for the prawns which were overcooked and chewy. But with most dishes around 14/15... More

Food was both terrible and hugely overpriced and the service was some of the worst I've ever experienced. It seems that most of the other reviewers agree... We were brought bread and olives which we were charged for although at no point were we told they weren't complimentary - the response when we queried this "if you eat something in... More

Unbelievably ridiculous! We ordered 2 glasses of wine, which was marginally drinkable. The same wine costs about !.99 a bottle in the store, they charged 4 euro a glass! Then we had a small late of padrons (spanish name), small peppers grilled in olive oil and seasoned with sea salt. We had to wipe each one to eat them, because... More
