Solid curry fix ahead. Crispy dosas, scrummy chicken tikka masala, banging paneer pakodas and a delicious kottayam fish curry. Go with an appetite. Clean tables, friendly service and definitely the perfect curry fix after a few beverages. The kerala parathas and puris we ordered were...too oily though so watch for that. The kerala lamb curry wasnt to our taste though being somewhat light on the flavour. The chicken 65 also wasn’t the tastiest. However, everything else we ate was lipsmackingly good. Go.More

Superb south indian restaurant and a must try if you are in Lisbon. Excellent service and friendly owner/staff. They are always busy however that doesnt impact the quality of food or service.

We found this nice place via Google search. This is clean and quiet restaurant in the middle of a busy street. Food was authentic South Indian. I recommend this place to those looking for delicious Kerala and South Indian food with excellent service for reasonable...price.More

The manager here is extremely condescending and rude. Our food was cold and instead of just replacing it, he told us we don't know how to eat and that we need to eat faster. He also told us to "cooperate." If you actually know what...South Indian food is, you probably shouldn't come here. The food lacks flavor, they have no chutney, and they have no idli. Even though there is coconut chutney on the menu, the manager told us he had none available. Between the bland-ish entrees and the horribly rude attitude, I wish I could give this place no stars. Completely ruined our night.More

This place has excellent food. I was skeptical about a Malabar restaurant in Lisbon, but when I found out that the chef, owner was trained in The Taj Hotel Group in India, those doubts were put to rest. It is a very friendly place and...the guests are mostly regulars. That itself speaks to the quality of the food. The food tasted freshly made and delicious. Make sure that you let them know of the spice level that you want. We were in Lisbon for a medical conference and although there for just five days, we managed eat there twice. The ambiance is comfortable and clean. Wish there was something like this place in Toronto!More

We, a family of four, were on a family tour of Europe and when we landed at Lisbon, our first search was for an Indian Restaurant . Our ‘top tour’ taxi driver helped in locating one in Costa Do Malabar. It’s about ~1KM from Our...Ramada Hotel. The hotel is on a lane and completely redone and made up. You can smell the paint even now. The interior has been made per Malabar , India style. We had Dosas- Plain, Masala, Chicken, Veg Soups, Samosas, kebabs and tea. The preparations were crisp and nice. Tea was as good as having it at Malabar Coast of India. Since we were having two wheel Chair and the road is completely paver stones and steep climbs, the owner was nice enough to offer us a drop at our hotel by his car. Appreciate his humane act. Well, we didn’t stop with that. We ordered take away food again and again during our stay. It’s a nice place to visit and have the Coastal Cuisine Of India here.More

Because of all the good reviews I decided to go try this restaurant. First of all it was hard to find. Coming from the Metro it is easy to take the wrong exit and end faraway from the place. Eventually people helped me find the...right street. I was a bit surprised that prices in this establishment was so high considering where the location is. I ordered 3 items. The appetizer vade truly was 2 bite size. There were 2 of them. The outside of the vade was cooked but the inside was raw. Next I had the dhal soup. This is the only item I loved. But considering how much such a soup is elsewhere it was overpriced. I still loved that soup. My main course was a Chicken Biryani. I have eaten Biryani in a number of countries. This particular one was more towards the sweet side. I was quite disappointed in it. I would only recommend the soup from what I had there. The server was very helpful... good service. On the same street there is a Mongolian and Nepali restaurant as well as another Restaurant.... both looked more inviting price wise.More

Friendly service, smiling people that make you feel at home. Food is amazing, everything "homecoked". New decoration with charm. Nice prices too. It is a true winner, as bonus they are catholic so they have wine.

Thank you so much, yes we do serve "home cooked" food and wines from most of the areas in Portugal. Happy to know our new interior and same price as before is making our customers also happy.
