We had just arrived at the Castle and wanted some lunch before we looked round. There were around 10 tables outside and we managed to get one of them. The menu has some tapas size dishes as well as larger plates. We chose a bit...More

That was easily the least ambitious and most uninspired breakfast I have had in years: cold bread roll, cheap gouda, cheap ham, some jam. You could warm up the bread roll, then serve some local cheese and local meat, and while it would still be...More

What a great place! The food was very good and not the usual fare you find in many restaurants. The menu is very varied and has interesting things like pigs' ears. Those were very tasty. We all enjoyed ourselves. Wine choice was good too.

Perfect dinner of shared tapas. Alex was a friendly, helpful server. Great octopus salad, gazpacho, salted cod salad (not salty!), shrimp in garlic, butter lemon sauce and veal liver in a tasty wine reduction sauce. Good house wines.

The fresh fish was awesome, but what was even better was our bilingual (English-speaking) and helpful waiter Alexandre who was the main reason why we decided to return for drinks there for all three nights of our stay. Thank you Alexandre!

I really don't understand the previous recommendations on this page. We made a reservation for 20.00 o clock because this was necessary according to tripadvisor, we where the only one there for at least two hours before two other tables came in. The dishes tasted...More
