What a great and cozy place, definitly back there again.both me and my boyfriend had a great time in a Tabacaria!huge credit to Jorge who took care of us and made delicious coctails! What a Amazing guy with Beautiful personality !!!
I went to the Tabacaria over this weekend with some friends from New York. The Barman absolutely nailed the drinks! Jorge was a nice guy, helpful and very friendly from start to finish. I have some picky friends - he was able to read our...tastebuds really well! And the music was jamming! Hell, if you're ever in Lisbon - definitely check this bar out. If Jorge is workings - tell him, "Jonny and the Gringos say hey!"
PS: As for the negative comment below, I definitely felt no "bully" or "bad vibes" from Jorge or any other barmen everytime I've been there. Plan to go more.More
Rude barman made fun of our faces and told everyone else out loud I was ordering caipirinhas. Said: “no one orders that anymore”. My friend was celebrating his birthday and we felt completely harassed and bullied by this guy. I strongly recommend you don’t support...a business that does that to its customers.More
We were lucky to find this restaurant lace when we opened the front door to our apartment and saw it just across the road. Great little bar, reasonably priced (€11 for large G&T and large beer), great music (soul, Motown etc) and very welcoming. Highly...recommendedMore
We’d visited the Ribeira Market to see whether it was as good as the reviews - which it was.
However, afterwards we wanted to have a couple more drinks around the area and found this lovely - discreet corner bar.
What an excellent find -...the host was welcoming and the choice of drinks - especially the cocktails, were tasty and inviting.
Try it - they’re worth supporting.More
