Slightly off the beaten path, this cafe restaurant offers amazing food and drinks, while retaining intimate atmosphere. Staff beaming with positive energy, local fresh food and mindblowing homemade lemonade. Highly recommend!

O Corvo is a small place in the historic area of the city, not far from Rossio, it is open from breakfast to dinner. We ate there for dinner, enjoying typical Portuguese dishes such as octopus, sardines, cod and cured meats and cheeses. all very good and plentiful. The place is very comfortable and almost feels like being among friends. it is often frequented by young locals as well as tourists just to drink a glass of wine or have an aperitif. The breakfasts are also fantastic!

This is an unassuming restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace in the Alfama district. However its food is delicious beyond belief and well, a whole jar of green wine for under 20 euro. The gambas(Shrimp) were in an onion, garlic, cilantro and lime sauce that I couldn’t stop sopping up with the fresh artisanal bread. The burger was thick and cooked perfectly with black ham(Portuguese prosciutto) a delicious onion chutney and cheese. The fried chicken cutlet I ordered was filled with a savory parsley(? )Sauce that was savory and delicious. The table next to us had Sea Bass that looked fantastic, and a couple of risotto dishes I wish I could have fit in. The clientele was a mix of Portugueses, Germans, Americans, and a group of tiny Italians who ordered more than you could imagine. I’m a big fan of this place for its traditional Portuguese appeal and solid delivery of delicious food. Go here. It’s worth the climb!

Easy to walk past this restaurant, as it has virtually no street presence in terms of signage or menus. We were attracted by the tables and chairs on the other side of this small, charming space on the way up to the castle. An initial look at the menu was not inspiring, as it seemed pricy compared to other restaurants, and looked like standard fare. On that basis we just ordered drinks, but when we saw the quality and presentation of the food coming out we changed our minds, and had a great lunch of tapas, charcuterie and cheese. When you actually go in the cafe it has a lot of indoor seating, and a impressive kitchen - quite a contrast with the external appearance. Well worth a visit when in the area.

Great breakfast with friendly and attentive staff. I stopped here with some friends after seeing the terrace street from Madeline street, cute and quaint neighborhood. All the items we ordered for breakfast were delicious . I had the scrambled eggs with a flaky tasty croissant, my friend’s husband had the pancakes which he said was tasty. I recommend eating breakfast here and then making your way through this charming neighborhood filled with art work cute shops. I would recommend this charming spot if you want something away from the busy Lisbon streets.

At first we struggled with deciding what to have as nothing was taking our fancy but after watching food come out we quickly ordered the octopus with potatoes , it was Devine. The wine was also very good. Overall the staff were accommodating and we had a lovely dinner . Thank you

We came across O Corvo completely by chance and the setting is magnificent. A small place high up far from the very active city center with a very nice menu. Portuguese dishes, tapas, salads or brunch plates, it's easy to find what you're looking for. The staff is very friendly and I recommend it for anyone who wants to have a coffee in the sun in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. PS: the pancakes are to die for! 😋

Small restaurant not particularly nice is a bit messy. The waiter is nice. The not very large menu does not offer much choice The food is definitely normal, you don’t feel that feeling of being ‘in a restaurant’ and eating something good or different. I probably wouldn't come back. Spend about 30 p.p.. Have a nice trip!

Our tour guide recommended this place for it's great food at reasonable prices. It did not disappoint. I had the scrambled eggs for €6.80 and toast for €2 ( although a piece of toast comes with the eggs). My husband got the octopus salad (very good) and focaccia with sardines (just OK) but probably because we are used to the real foccacia in Italy. French fries were fabulous. Loved the funky atmosphere. They even have some tables outside and a play area inside for the kids. Don't miss out on this jewel.

We came across this restaurant whilst exploring the streets not far from the castle. We shared a cheese platter to start with a lovely glass of red wine, before moving on to a selection of dishes including a really lovely aubergine salad. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere very casual and welcoming. Highly recommend!

It's a small local restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very busy but with excellent food. We had the olives (34 olives!) and the grilled polvo (octopus) with roasted potatoes (with skins) and greens. It was nicely seasoned and so delicious! Wine, beer and dessert (an almost flourless chocolate cake with whipped cream) and it all came to 30.10 euros. What a way to end our Portuguese adventure!

Found by chance after having changed the plans for the afternoon tour on the fly, we decide to stop in this little place that seems less touristy and more "local". Good choice! Quality products, kind and friendly staff, fair and lower prices than other places. It's worth stopping again and discovering new flavours! PS: if you love strong flavours, try the "melted" cheese in the terracotta pan.

Restaurant with good Portuguese cuisine. The staff is very friendly and is Pet friendly. We ordered cod and it was very delicious. They are cod loins cooked at a low temperature on a kind of straw potato cake. It is a hearty dish that fills you up. I recommend it without a doubt

Our favorite restaurant for breakfast and brunch. There are really great breakfast variations with fruit, yogurt, muesli, croissants, sausage, cheese, pancakes, fresh juices - simply everything for a cozy breakfast. Nice seating inside and outside, cool atmosphere, nice music and super friendly service.

We visited this excellent restaurant during our two-week holiday, and it was a highlight of our trip. We had a burger, octopus, and prawns, and everything was fantastic. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the prawns were the best we’ve had in our entire vacation. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommended!
