As I expected the waiter not to speak Danish we asked if he spoke English. He proceeded to insult us and said why should we speak in English if I do not speak Brazilian Portuguese. Very unfriendly. Avoid

Bolina is located on the prom near Estoril suburban station. Good place for people-watching. Food is nicely done and economic. Good service by over-qualified, personable Brazilian from Niteroi (Rio's cross-bay twin city). Nothing was too much trouble for him and the migration of Brazilians to...Portugal has boosted the friendliness and quality of service in Lisbon. We also noted this in the traditional restaurants of Policja and Laurentina near the Gulbenkian. We will return !!More

Absolutely loved this restaurant. On a rainy day we wanted to eat elsewhere, however the sullen service put us off. Only a few minutes walk from where we were was Bolina, TA reviews looked good, so off we went. We chose salmon and mussels, both...were fantastic. The salmon looked as if it had been cooked on a skewer as intertwined were peppers and onions. The mussels served with delicious fries. Washed down with a wonderful green wine. A great way to while away a couple of hours whilst the rain fell. The service was wonderful, genuine and attentive. Highly recommend a visit: great views, great food, excellent service and a very reasonable bill - what more could you ask for (well, maybe a bit of sun on this particular day!)More

Fantastic location to enjoy very fine seafood. Well grilled, plump sardines, juicy garlic prawns, mussels and clams. The great bread and wine rounded off an excellent lunch. The waiters were friendly and efficient.

Thank you very much for having been our guests and always welcome back to enjoy bolina.fish
This restaurant is directly on the beach in Estoril. The sunset is just amazing as you dine. Had the chicken and vegetable soup with french fries. Nothing great but felt like it was home made. Service was pretty good, at least our server was. I...would recommend you visit when your here then take a nice walk along the walkway.More
