I was recommended to this restaurant by some locals and was very pleased with it. I love Cabrito Assado (roast kid) and enjoyed the best I have ever had at this establishment. The ambience is not the best but the food is excellent. I may not have the time during my brief stay in the area but wish I could... More

Will definitely return here! Cabrito was amazing, as well as lulas. Kids could stretch their legs outside within view, while we could have a nice adult meal. Portuguese families were still waiting for tables at 1500 for lunch on a Sat. Full restaurant.

We visited Quinta do Farta Pao with our children when passing through the area. We had been there before, and this time it was even better then we remembered. The food is excellent, the staff helpful and friendly. The restaurant itself is traditional with a lovely green garden where the children can play. You can also have your meal outside... More

We rang to check if there was access for a wheelchair user as it is an old farmhouse with a bread oven (hence the name) the main entrance is not suitable - they opened a side gate and there was a sloped path to sit under the pergola out of the hot afternoon sun. The couverts were delicious: octupus salad-... More

We live nearby in Cascais and went there today for lunch with my family. The location is nice and good for kids. Having said that, I cannot recommend this restaurant. It seems the owners are trying to lower costs by not having the adequate amount of staff working in the kitchen and as service staff. We had to wait for... More

Farta Pao is a secluded but very nice restaurant near Malviera de Serra. The fish selection is excellent and we highly recommend the Robalo (Portuguse sea bass). The service is friendly and efficient. The menu offers a lote of service and we think it is a real bargain - good value. Try it - you'll like it.

I first went to this restaurant in 1974 and have many great memories of eating here with groups of friends on many returns to Cascais over the years. What a pity that a single waiter can spoil all of this. There were 22 of us, a large multi family group with ages from 8-70 years; I realise this this is... More

I simply adore their cabrito no churrasco. All fish and meat courses are abundant and very well prepared. In more than 20 years I have never had a wrong meal in this amazing restaurant. Try it!

Great location in the wood, great garden to have lunch or have the children playing instead of getting bored at the table. Loved the sangria, entries, and meat dishes.

The best restaurant to go with family ... great surroundings with nature! Big and beautiful spaces for children to play ... to taste wonderful dishes! I advise all entries (especially ham and sausage), and then the "Cozido à Portuguesa", the "Lulas (squid)" and "Cabrito no churrasco (Lamb on the barbecue)".
