THE most delicious fish ever. We were told that Bill Clinton ate there and then sent Hillary. The waiters were so impressed by Bill. He asked all the staff to come out to have their picture taken with him. Then he mailed each of them a copy of the photo. Besides the fish, all of the vegetables were delicious. Everything... More

Come here if you are looking for best quality fish in an elegant environment. Obviously at a high price though. Waiter will come with the daily fresh fish so you can pick the one you like. Choose the fish and choose the way you want it cooked. Keep some hunger for the desserts: local farofias are exellent too. Service is... More

Went as a group (couple with young kids). Service was excellent (kids loved the lobster tank and looking at all the fish on display). The fish when it came was exquisite, and the chocolate ice cream for the kids was quickly stolen by the adults and devoured (again exquisite). Fish is priced by the kilo, so best to ask the... More

This is the top one! Amazing food, great staff, great view, decor is spot on! Relaxed restaurant and you will always find the perfect wine. Monkfish rice dish/stew is just great! Great on a Sunday evening when is quiet after the lunchtime madness

Seafood restaurant overlooking the beach. Both the food and service are excellent. We had a large sea bass for a group of eight people which the waiter brought to the table before cooking. The price is a bit high but you get good value.

Fresh fish prepared with simple baking methods, cooked perfectly. The ham and cheese appetizers were excellent. The wine list was good with plenty of choices. I was disappointed that this restaurant is not vegetarian friendly as I had to get my wife something after we left the restaurant. Although the fish was fresh, it was quite pricey in my opinion... Fresh fish and live lobster in tank. Great view of the sea and excellent service. Only old genuine gentlemen working as waiters :-)

Whenever visiting Portugal, I make sure to have a meal at O Faroleiro. I have never been disappointed. This time our party of four enjoyed three dinners in a five night span. We could not stay away. The fish and seafood were as fresh as could be. The decor, like the waitstaff, is warm and inviting. Beautiful sea views. Good... More

Along the breath taking Guincho road, from Cascais to Guincho, you will find plenty of restaurants were you can have some of the best seafood you can find, but all very expensive. This restaurant is, for me, the one with the best value for money. You can have fresh fish or seafood, and if you go there for dinner, by... More
