Visited this restaurant on two occasions recently. Quality of the food was excellent if somewhat expensive. Good selection of fish and meat dishes and a very good wine menu. Staff are very friendly and it is always nice to see the owner come out to meet the guests. It is a pity that the tradition of giving a 'drink on... More

The "arroz con mariscos ",(seafood and rice), was superb! It was rainy and cold so the warm soupy rice was perfect! It hit the spot! The portion is supposed to be enough for two people. Frankly,it was enough for four!!! If ever I go back to Cascais, which I hope to do, I'd love to go back to this delicious... More

The golden grilled fish is super fresh and nice. Caicais is really a gem for seafood. My local friend said they cook the food at a very local style. Good service, especially Antonis who served us. Thumbs up, and will surely come again!!

We arrived at 10 pm and the place was nearly empty. Although we were charged for bread, we were never given the cheese. We had the clams which were delicious and the sole meunière. Everything was delicious. Nevertheless, this place is all about money and overcharging guests. When checking the bill we found an almond tart we never ordered and... More

Ate here on our penultimate day at the Cascais marina. About 20 minutes walk, great to set you up and even better to settle you down on your way back. Great knowledgeble service, prompt attention and well prepared food. I think we had the best prepared calamari as a starter. Pricey? Probably, Worth it, yes. If I am ever in... More

Avoid at all cost, absolute tourist trap! Ridiculously overpriced if you look at the quality of the dishes (presentation, taste...), thankfully we did not have to pay for one of the main dishes (stay away from the lobster salad!!). Michelin listed? The chef must have had good connections...

A very disappointing last dinner for my holiday. I had chosen to treat myself to a posh seafood dinner on the last day of my holiday, my vegetarian sister having left with her daughter earlier that day, and with the restaurant also being recommended to us. I ordered the shrimp cocktail to start, something light and refreshing having had a... More

We had high expectations as it was also Michelin rated. We were extremely disappointed with the food, ambience and service. The fish dishes we ordered were overcooked and dry including the lobster which was rubbery and the stuffed soft crab was not as expected, it was tasteless. Will not be paying a repeat visit.

I ate here as part of my tour group so I can't speak to prices, but the food was very good. I had fish of course, and it was perfectly cooked. My melon appetizer was sweet and juicy. Dessert was a traditional Portugese pie. My server was very generous with the wine pours. Lovely spot.

Expensive, poor value for unexceptional food. Waiter exhibited an attitude of "Fleece the tourist", won't be back. This is the type of restaurant that gives Cascais and Portugal the reputation for providing poor value and being somewhat of a rip off. Fish is sold by weight resulting in one having no idea what they are likely to be charged. Neither... More
