Sadly we read about this restaurant after dining there tonight. After a resort recommendation and driving by we booked online. What a mistake. Beautiful location and a view to die for. Pleasant staff on arrival and nice waiter. Just after sitting down the table was filled with prawns, cheese and bread. The highlight was the plate of barnacles. None of... More

This restaurant is always full, so I recommend booking in advance. It is quiet big in space so if you want a table by the terrace in the water front you definitely have to reserve. The waiters are incredibly nice and helpful. The food is beyond delicious. They serve a famous White Sangria which is quiet delicious and refreshing for... More

For some 40 years I know the place. I've never been disappointed. Both food and staff are great. And, of course, the Guincho rocks and sea are priceless. Last Sunday we were lucky enough to have a superb moonlight and...no wind! We'll be back for sure.

I think I have to agree with the rest of the reviewers. The restaurant is overrated and a tourist trap. We have been going to all restaurants recommend by the concierge at international prices when in Portugal restaurants are very cheap. On the advice of other reviewers we refused the dishes that were brought in the beginning with the bread,... More

Seafood and fish are great and very fresh. The location on top of the water is a must. Free parking.

Another tourist trap on top of an extremely arrogant attitude. View is great thought, if you're willing to accept the rest

In a beautiful setting it's a very poor quality restaurant. Nothing is ever good enough. The food is not always fresh and many times not well prepared. It is prepared with such poor imagination that it hurts...again and again those overcooked green beans, those silly potatoes and overcooked carrots. I am fed up ! In a country that has originally... This restaurant was in the 50 best restaurants in Europe list. That is why I picked it. And I was glad I did so I had the opportunity to visit Cascais, a very beautiful town near Lisbon. The restaurant is located in a pleasant place facing the sea. We had a "Cataplana", a dish that is a stew with various... More

Food: Well prepared in a traditional way. Some dishes have a quite unique flavor; hence make sure that you know what you order. Service: fine, no complains, perhaps lack a bit more personal approach. The place is quite big and staff is working very hard. However, I believe increasing staff would improve customer experience (while I appreciate the effort, running... More

The restaurante call them selves: The best fish restaurante in Portugal. Well the fish was ok. But if we would have got the wine for it earlier than 20 minutes after serving the food, well maybe the food still would have been warm. Than ordered icecream desert and sweet wine. This time the wine came 25 minutes after the desert... More
