A charming and cozy seaside local seafood restaurant that offers you warm atmosphere, simple yet delicious food - sardines+potatoes+salad+bread all you can eat till you say stop for a truly friendly budget. If weather is nice - try to get a seat outside and enjoy your grilled sardines - probably all time best sardines you will ever have!

So it works this way: you find your seat, you wait a little, order drink, they bring sardines and potatoes and salad, and when you are finishing they bring more sardines, and then more, and then more, until you say enough. In case you didn't know, sardines are one of the main dishes in this region (and of the entire... More

If you like the traditional Portuguese dish "sardinhas assadas" (sardines on coal) this is the place to visit at Figueira Da Foz Top quality fish and you really feel welcomed by the staff. The food is always being served and you stop only when you are full. Good desserts also To be repeated...

You have only one choice at this small restaurant: sardines on carbon! There's nothing else to offer, but they are the best sardines on carbon you will ever taste! You pay the same value, either if you eat 4 ou 20 sardines! Sardines are always getting into your plate as you wish! Hot and salty! You also get corn bread,... More

Okay, take it as a given: This is a lunchtime only place that has probably not chaged in years and only does one dish. That dish being grilled sardines. The general course of events is - bread and small starter, salad, potatoes, and grilled sardines. Then more, then more. Then silent ninja moves to drop more sardines on your plate... More

We felt really lucky to get a table here on a Sunday afternoon but I think going between 4 and 6pm means you miss the lunch rush. Be aware the restaurant closes at 8pm so you want to get there before then! The lady, who I expect is the owner, was really kind to us and offered to move our... More

If it's only two of you they will not accept a reservation from you and will put you on a waiting list without telling when they are going to call you! And for sure will not seat you outside to have the ocean view .... I really think it not a place to go to only if you are not... More

We saw the restaurant, saw that it was busy, and sat down. I noticed that everyone was eating sardines. Little did we know there were no other choices. Then they came, and came. And came. Hot, crispy, salty and tender. And they came. Filled with locals. In a nation rife with good food, this is special. Go!

Amazing view in front of the magnificent beach of Buarcos. Excellent sardines, and you can eat as much as you want. Very nice service, and fantastic price. Wonderful experience. Will return there.

This is an amazing restaurant because:
1. It is only open for lunch
2. They have only one main course dish: grilled sardines
3. You can eat as many as you want (they refill your plates!)
4. The sardines are delicious
5. There's a sign in the restaurant that says (politely) "If you don't like the service, you don't have to stay'.
6. You can have the eat-all-you-can sardines meal for a mere 10 Euros.
7. It's located above the beach but with perfect beach and sea views.
