Started with fried alheira and a fish soup, with a beer. T-Bone (matured meat) presentation was perfect, in a big wooden plate, with a special knife to cut it. Medium rare was perfect, salt was perfect, nothing that compromised the real flavour of the meat....Came with homemade french fries, and a homemade mayonnaise. Overall, great location, great ambience, and perfect foodMore

We waited a bit outside on a weds night because we didn’t have a reservation. The food was very very good, worth waiting for, nice wine list which includes a variety of local wines to choose from and the service was good. Very glad we...went. There’s something for everyone.More

During our 4 day stay in Angra, we had dinner here twice. The Filet Mignon was extraordinary, an we also loved the tuna and the shrimp pasta. The servie was quick and friendly.

Excellent food and courteous service, with a couple of slip-ups along the way. Delicious steak, maybe the best I’ve ever had. Given COVID however I found the tables a little close together. But definitely worth the trip.

It’s a good restaurant. The food mainly typical from the islands, has a service a bit more glamorous to it. We went in August, that means that although we didn’t wait for a table as we previously booked, the restaurant was full all the time...and with a long queue of people waiting for a table. The food was good but I would expect a better wine list from a place like this.More

We absolutely suggest this restaurant, it’s without any doubt the best place to have dinner in Terceira! We loved the Alcatra regional meat!

The enthusiastic reviews made me choose this restaurant. I wouldn’t be as enthusiastic. First, the waiting before my entry came was quiet long (35mn). The restaurant was full of course but the staff should keep up the rhythm to avoid such long waiting times Secondly,...the entry (fried shrimps “a la Tias ») was ok, but nothing exceptional for fried shrimps… And in any decent restaurant that serves seafood you’ll get at least a refreshing tissue when you dissect and eat something with your fingers like shrimps… Third the Tuna steak: the steak itself was very good and well grilled on the outside and raw in the the inside like it should be. But the decoration with grilled spaghettis picked onto the steak didn’t make any sense… and the sweet potatoes that came with the steak were so full of oil (in fact the whole plate was bathing in oil) that there were uneatable… So, not bad overall, but really overrated and really average restaurantMore

Very fast and efficient service. All the dishes cooked really well, traditional flavors too. I particularly liked the braised tuna, simple but extremely tasty.

Our meal here was very good. We hadn't reserved but we only had a short wait before being shown to a table. The staff were very active and dishes were constantly being served around us. The menu was easy to understand and our food was...well presented with some delicious local wine.More

Alcatra was perfect. Portion is quite big. Good for 2-3 persons.
