About
To arrive in our space is to get home, drop your bag, and enjoy a hot coffee and a slice of homemade lemon pie. It’s kicking off your shoes, sinking into a big armchair, and drifting along with the melody on the stereo. It’s the feeling that there’s nowhere you need to go because you’re already in a place that comforts your heart. That’s our aim. To feed your soul and warm your heart. This place was born out of friendship, the purest form of love. We sincerely hope that it will be for you what it is for us. A refuge and a place to share moments of magic. Had some of the best food at this casual place! I ordered the Azorean alcatra - beef slow cooked w/ wine and spices - sandwich style on typical/ local english muffin type bread. SO delicious that I'm still thinking about it a week later! Staff...More

We came here for dinner after a long day of hiking around, and I really enjoyed the comfy armchair I found at my table. I had a Salmon salad, which was really good and really reasonable. Ditto for the local beer and the warm chocolate...More

Superb! Have returned twice so far! This is such a pleasing place! The meat and cheese tray is the best on the island, the food is spot on, the wines and great and the prices can’t be beat! The service is excellent!

My burger cost €3.50, and it easily sits at the top of my list of my favorite burgers. Enough said? Yea maybe, but it'd be rude to sell this place short. My Azorean based gin and tonic was spiced with cinnamon and sweetened with a...More

We made a spur of the moment decision for a quick bite and found a lovely space that felt like a quaint living room. Host was personal, laid back and there were comfy stuffed chairs at each table. We both had ham & cheese grilled...More

We enjoyed our very reasonably priced dinner at a Minha Casa. My wife had the chicken salad and said it was pretty good. I had the chicken cutlet and it had a nice flavor.
