I write this review in English so that everyone can benefit from the bad experience they had yesterday. We entered the restaurant and a lady who speaks very good English (later I found out she was the cook) told me there was no free tables....I counted 6 free tables and after us no one entered, so they weren't booked. The only solution is outdoor tables, all in the sun. They DO NOT do table service outside, you have to go into the bar and place your order. I asked if it was possible to open an umbrella. She said no, because it was too windy. After 10 'a company of locals arrived and without asking for any permission they opened the umbrellas. Nobody said anything. We order and after more than 1h, when I complained and threatened to leave, our food arrived. What have we ordered? 1 Hamburger, 1 plate of calamari, 2 salads. All wrong. I will not go into detail otherwise I will never finish. I conclude with only the last two bad things. 1) Excess wrong bill. 2) While I was at the counter and waiting for my turn, one of the waitresses took a dirty glass from the sink, spent a few seconds under water and then used it to put beer in it to give to a customer. Other than COVID .... Stay away from this place!More

We arrived here after the restaurant had closed for lunch. We'd just finished a great hike and were very hungry - they opened up the kitchen just for us. Simple food but quality was very good. Loved the cold beer and house wine too. Enjoyed...the local atmosphere and couldn't be more grateful to the owner for feeding us.More

we were over to watch the waves crash aganist the shore in biscoitos and decided to stop in for lunch and so glad we did, We had the alcatra for the first time, Wow, it was amazing and we must have eaten a loaf of...bread to ensure we soaked up all the juice of the meat. We did not know what to expect of Alcatra, but to me it was like a very slow cooked pot roast,It was a pot roast soup without veggies, full of tons of flavour and tons of meat., we had a glass of wine and a beer with lunch all for well under 20E. Highly reccommend, sitting in the window watching the waves crash up along the far shore was the added bonus.More

Poor service, Our calamari appetizer was good, but came with our meals. The swordfish was served with cold rubbery potatoes, the other plate was incorrect. When the Seafood Pasta arrived is was tasty and hot. There were a couple of unopened clams, but otherwise good....Waiter was non attentive and we had to ask for our bill, which was incorrect.More

This past Sunday while weathering all of the rain my wife and I decided to head out for dinner. The rain and clouds were so bad in the evening that a visit to Angra was out of the question and another local restaurant wasn't serving...food at the time. We stumbled across this restaurant and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. The prices were absolutely amazing as well. If in Biscoitos you would be well served to come here for lunch or dinner.More

Great lunch spot by the sea. Green Mussels are especially tasty. Friendly staff and good house wine.

The food was good at Restaurante do Porto dos Biscoitos but it was really the friendly and accomodating staff that made dining here great. They really went out if there way to make sure everything was good for us. The place is unique and old...and decorated over the top for Christmas. Loved itMore

This restaurant is located in a great place, close to beautiful little fisherman harbour. The menu has big variety of dishes and the ones we tried were very tasty, a great steak and fried crispy bluemouth offshore fish. I recommend to who is visiting Biscoitos.
