We took two loin steaks (served with garlic, sauce and french fries) and it was amazing!! Also desserts was awsome (cheesecake and chocolate mousse). Definitely we will come back!

The place where I got one of the best steaks I ever had. It’s hard to find, difficult to find parking place but these obstacles worth to overcome.

We went here on the recommendation of the owner of the apartment. It's a really nice place, popular with the locals. It's a bit far from the center, but we lived nearby, so we didn't get to the first day, so we came to the...second. I wouldn't go here on purpose. Advantages: good steak, reasonable prices. Disadvantages: it is cramped, you can not get there because of the small number of places.More

Not the best beef in the island as some people recommended. It was a normal beef and chips, nothing special but a bit expensive.

We had a group of friends (5 of us) visiting in March so wasn't incredibly busy. This restaurant was one recommended by our AirBnB host and we were not disappointed. If you fancy a good steak and you are in Ponta Delgada, O Galego is the best option, located on the promenade towards São Roque. It is not worth asking for the menu because its specialty is the steak. It is not as famous as...the steak of the Agricultural Association, but in quality and taste, it is not far behind, and the price is lower. But it does not exempt a visit to the Agricultural Association, mainly due to its new and modern facilities, the greater variety and the artisan beer.More

Friendly family-orientated small place full with large groups of locals when we went. We were sat by the door to the back, and it was opened and closed all the time with people going out to smoke or coming in from a back entrance. Very...annoying. Local cuisine was on the menu but there wasn't much choice for Coeliacs and played safe with steak. Served with fries which were tasty, can't say the same for the steak. Service was very prompt but have eaten much better steaks elsewhere, so am quite surprised with the rave reviews from other diners. Expected better.More

Wow was this place amazing!! My husband and I ate here on our vacation to Sao Miguel and have been craving it ever since. To start, the bread is amazing and worth getting. So fresh and they give a huge basket of it. The steak...plate is absolutely to die for. The owners were so friendly and accommodating and we had the best dinner of our trip here. We did not have a reservation but I would recommend it.More

Casa do bife do steaks mostly but not only . The best is lion steak. Full or half portion. With egg and garlin. Just to there !

If you like a good beef steak, this is the place to go. The room is small and usually is full, so I recommend you to make a reservation.

We came here without booking, but fortunately at the opening time. The restaurant was fully booked, but one reservation was for later time, so we were the only ones that caught the table. Other people that came later were rejected. It is small, simple local...restaurant but the approach to customers is cool. As a started we ordered local cheese and butter with garlic bread. Then we tried steaks... Honestly they were perfectly prepared, home made fries were delicious. We were lucky guys, that we were here. Later when guests started to come (local families and couples) I felt like at someones home. I liked the place.More

The bife is great as advertised, but the grilled limpets and the octopus salad were two of our favorite dishes we had in our entire time in the Azores.
