Great choice for an authentic, local experience

One of the best value for money offers. Super tasty food. Great variety of meat and fish choices. Unbeatable prices (all you can eat buffet + drink + coffee for 15€). Quick and friendly service.

Lagoa Azul Buffet Lunch

Wonderful buffet lunch. Only open until 3pm. Get there early. Wide variety of foods.. roasted rib, roasted goat,pork loin with pineapple, limpert rice, roasted conger, Nile perch,roasted octopus, tuna steak, potatoes, roasted beans and salad. Great mixture of meat and seafood. Comes complete with a...glass of beer or wine and a coffee to finish off. Dessert is extra, lots of choices.. cheese cakes, ice cream, chocalate cake. Looks very good. I couldn't eat any more, but the sweet rice pudding looked delicious. Nice courteous staff. Our waitress Katerina was very good. Highly recommendMore

Good buffet near the lake area.

The restaurant is buffet style- all you can eat. There is a good mix of portuguese food available, of both meat and fish. The price is very reasonable and fhe food is good. Unfortunately the restaurant does not have a food view to fhe lake...compared to ofher ones and the service was a little rushed. I would advise to book as they quickly fill up, and it can only be booked in 1h slots.More

Excellent home made food

The food was home made, large variety to choose from, fresh salad, free wine, soft drinks and coffee and dessert. We came a big group and everyone found something to eat and enjoy

Good place if you want it some good.

Small, friendly restaurant, eat as much as you can style so very fast we full. Food is delicious main one make from fish and beef.

Very good food and service!

The restaurant is great! It has a variety of local foo, meat and fish the price is great! 13€ with coffe and drink included! Dessert are home made! Awesome for 1,5€ each! Highly recommend!

Best lunch in Sete Cidades

All you can eat buffet (you can choose from many local fishes and steaks) plus coffee for very friendly price. Good service, tasty food.

Probably the best octopus in São Miguel

Probably the best octopus on the island!! The buffet is amazing!!! Such an awesome regional azorean food spot!

Taste of „OMA“

Do not let people waiting in the line trick you. The teste of the food is incredible. It remember homemade food in. A all you can eat. It is a bit small but the statf if really nice. And until today was the first restaurant...that we went that was following the Corona Rules. FantasticMore

Excellent Buffet

We had the buffet lunch as part of a tour and loved it- lots of choices, great local food served fresh. Good service and great coffee. The layout is a bit crowded but it moves along and there's plenty to eat- fish, pork, chicken, veggies,...local stews and legumes- very nice.More

Local Food

We were taken here by a local. This place was FANTASTIC. It was the most authentic meal we had while in the Azores. I love the buffet style as there are so many choices.

Home made and extraordinary taste. This is a family run business that serves a good variety of traditional Portuguese home made meat and fish dishes, in buffet style. You can eat as much as you want, including a drink and coffee for €12 per person....Each dish is delicious, made with fresh ingredients and amazing traditional Portuguese flavours. All of this, down in the beautiful Sete Cidades village! You will not regret!More

Nothing fancy - Just great food

This restaurant is on the west side of San Miguel. It is in the small town of Sete Cidade which is located on the shore of one of the beautiful volcanic lakes. The restaurant is plain but clean. They had a buffet with many main...dishes. The food was excellent. It was like your grandmother was in the kitchen making authentic Azores dishes. Would like to return next time we are in the Azores.More

Wonderful local place!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner of steak and chicken in this restaurant -- the meat and sauces were excellent, and complimented by good bread and wine. We seemed to be the only tourists on a week night in November, and we found the local flavor...delightful.More

Friendly service, buffet style

Our original choice of a lunch place was fully booked and the host there recommended this place. We didn’t realize that it was a buffet style until we were already seated, so it was a bit of a surprise. Buffet consisted of selection of meat,...chicken, fish, soup, salad, potatoes, rice, and some steamed veggies. Overall, if you intend to eat a lot, then it’s a good value for a food that was not bad for a buffet.More
