We chose this restaurant base on the reviews and because we wanted to have some nice fresh fish. The employees are friendly and of good advice. The fish plate for 2 was really good. One of the 3 fishes was a bit too dry but...overall really tasty. The potatoes next to it were a bit dry but with the garlic butter sauce this is ok. For dessert we chose icecream and they were really good and the portions big !! Last the price is more than correct so overall we can highly recommend this restaurantMore

Romantic setting, friendly waitresses and the food is sooo good! We had shrimps, Azorean barnacles, and then the octopus. Simply delicious! We payed 17,5 eur for the large potion.

Overall, this is a great restaurant. Very welcoming setting, great service, very good seafood and wines. We thought that it was a great value... great atmosphere. One of the things that I loved, apart from the good food was that all of their lettuce and...vegetables at their salad bar had a cover to keep the flies out. It is basically an open to the air restaurant, so its a very valued detail.More

Dishonest at best...food in this island is very very good, don't go here. it is just an American restaurant drop in the Azores...authentic in Boston , ridiculous in San Miguel..better to put the restaurant on a cargo ship and relocate it where it belongs, on...the other(American) side of the ocean... And please don't overcooked fish and mussles: sinfull...More

Great food, quick and good service, excellent value for the money. Highly recommended! We had the soup of the day and fish grelhada - plus fresh salad from the buffet. The fish is deliciously cooked and tasty

We had an excellent meal of fresh fish at this atmospheric restaurant. The menu had a choice of several kinds of local fresh fish as well as meat dishes and the restaurant provided a book with explanations of the fish available in Portuguese and English....The staff were really friendly, service was quick and the food was very well cooked. The local house wine was also very good. All in all a place to recommend.More

Be sure to get a reservation. We got lucky by getting there before opening at 7PM. Bread/olives before dinner and fish for 2 for entree with salad. Pitcher of sangria was delish too. Dessert was amazing as well with pie and vanilla ice cream. Excellent...service and beautiful atmosphere.More
