Great seafood, friendly staff. We popped in off the street for dinner and glad we did. Prompt, friendly service. Tasty food. Lots of fresh seafood to try.

We stopped here for a drink. We sat down only after i asked the waiter if they served cider (sidra). He conifrmed. We sat down, ordered, only to be told by another waiter, they have no cider. Instead I ordered a glass of Vinho Verde. The wine arrived lukewarm and with no sparkle (quite unusual for a vinho verde) and... More

Doing the tourist thing in Silves (good). Dropped in for lunch; we all had plates of the day. Excellent salt cod dish and oven bake halibut. Delightful, prompt friendly service.

Visited this place thanks to TripAdvisor. Must admit that if the reviews weren't there we would probably walked further towards an other restaurant. The staff is very focused on tourists an sometimes a bit annoying, but if you look past that, the dinner was just wonderful. We all had dishes with fish and even our children completed their complete course.... More

Went as a family for lunch and had a fantastic meal. The monkfish and seafood stew was lovely, the fillet steak and shrimp was tender and came with a lovely selection of veg. Two of the children were able to easily share one fish fingers and chips and the ravioli was fresh and tasty. Very reasonably priced

Wandered into this establishment at random the other day, attracted by the tanks of live lobsters etc. I eventually settled on linguado, the soles in southern Portugal are marvellous and HUGE. I did not regret my decision. The fish was so fresh, beautifully prepared, and to my mind very good value for the quality received. Yep, next time I go... More

Silves is such a quiet uncommercial destination it's a shame that we stumbled here. Husband had sea bass I had swordfish we were watched every bite making it hard to relax. Walking by we felt harassed by waiters touting for business. Food ok but spoilt by commercialism.

They offer a good selection of dishes. The seafood is local and fresh, and they have some vegetarian options.

When you first see this place it looks like a little cafe but the food was great and the owners really friendly

This is crammed with locals, often taking the dish of the day for a pittance. But their clams, their calderada, their tuna steaks are quite exceptional; try the santola, the spider crab, but don't get too friendly with it in the tank first. Been excellent for years: benign staff, with a smile for the tourist and the regular alike.
