Had a good view over the sea. Seafood adequate. Could have been better. Relaxed atmosphere which was nice.

Can't fault the food for the price (except they had no ice cream) and the fresh squid was very good. However it could not have been served by more grumpy staff. Seemed very grumpy with all these annoying "tourists" bothering them with requests for food, drink and condiments. The kids really wanted some of the ice creams advertised on a... More

Took grandchildren who have a string of allergies and the team could not have been more helpful. The choice and quality of the food was fantastic. Some of the best this holiday. Food was slow coming from the kitchen but they explained they scrupulous scrub down grills pots etc to make sure there is no cross contamination. Well done team.

Spectacular location right on Martinhal beach and very poor food and service. It's adequate only for coffee or beer out of main meal hours. There is a very good restaurant nearby.

Visited this restaurant twice whilst staying at Martinhal. Great location situated on the beach with wonderful views. Problem is the service. On our first visit we took our seat and managed to attract the attention of one of the waiting staff who took our order and we had a pleasant meal. It was very much hit and miss whether the... More

We wound up here after a walk along the cliffs, on one of the Algarve's less sunny days, and were welcomed by a friendly waiter who spoke great English and was very helpful. Given it is a beach bar / restaurant the toilets were particularly impressive and clean - which was helpful on that particular day ;-)

Food was good. Arroz do marisco was tasty and as was the seabass. We went back several times during our week at Martinhal Hotel. Service was helpful and friendly too.

Situated on the beach, this restaurant serves simple but good food. Fresh fish, chicken kebabs and other sea food dishes and salads. Great to sit in and watch the kids play on the beach! Only accepts cash however so go prepared. This restaurant is not part of the Martinhal Beach resort but is a very short walk along the beach.

What a beautiful setting. I see some of the other reviews saying the same but that the food was a let down. The food was good, not great, good. Added with the beautiful setting, I'm happy with a four rating but the food was probably closer to a three to be fair.
