Staying two nights so elected to dine here the first night. Food was average at best and not a bargain.

No atmosphere and pretty ordinary food. We had a fish cataplana for a special Sunday lunch, but again it was not very exciting. Service was reasonable.

Nice location in the middle of sagres, very fresh fish, very good service, good prices. Will be there again next time.

Across the street from one of the best restaurants this place has had mixed reviews. We had a cataplana de tamboril (monkfish) with prawns, an absurd amount of monkfish and cockles. It was tasty albeit slightly overcooked (which happens a lot with cataplana as it continues cooking). Good house wine to flush it all down. I couldn't handle dessert but... More

The restaurant was almost empty but we still had to wait a lot for everything. I didn't like the food too much. The olives were rancid. The cataplan wasn't bad, but I ate way better just across the street.

Myself and my partner visited here last week for lunch. It was a busy day in the restaurant but we were made to feel as if we were in the way. The waiter was downright rude at times. We expect a lower level of customer service in Portugal but he pretty much dismissed my partner when he asked for the... More

We had a great meal here, juicy plump mussels and grilled tuna! Although it was delicious, I feel like almost all Portuguese restaurants are delicious and this one is not a stand out for me. I would eat here again, but I’m not rushing back,

On a sunny Sunday afternoon the choices are rather limited in Sagres. We stumbled across this place and it was between average and good. Lots of seating. Parking is just down the street. It's on the main street. There were lots of seafood related items on the menu as well as other meats. I should have stuck with a seafood... More

We had grilled prawns and the beefsteak (house style). The prawns were okay, but nothing special. The steak was one of the worst I've ever had, dry like hell with ham and cheese as "topping" and a completely uninspired sauce made of mushrooms and cream. The service was friendly but uncoordinated and slow. For the served food we wouldn't had... More
