This place was quite expensive for what it was. In 3 weeks in Portugal, this was the only average meal I had. Honestly, I think anyone with half decent kitchen skills could prepare a better meal. We were a party of 5 and tried several different dishes. Other people seem to like it here- either they don't know what Portugal... More

We've just had a few snacks here with fresh orange juice (cost altogether 10 EUR). Fig cake was amazing. Recommended.

Great food. We had to wait a moment for a table but it was worth. Great atmosphere. Really nice home wine and cakes.

The food was very good - we went for some of the dishes served for two people so had a good selection to try. Service was attentive and friendly. Very warm inside but temperatures had risen quite a bit. Bit expensive for what is on menu

We enjoyed an evening in a Sagres not only because of fresh fish, but also because of very nice and friendly staff. Quite long waited for our dishes, but house wine (nice!) made this time very happy :)

We came to the restaurant, when it was still closed, but we managed to persuade the owner to cook something for us, since we were very hungry. Her wife prepared big pot of fish stew with some pasta inside. We ate it all at a glance and the owner was very surprised that we managed. Coriander leaves, lemon, vine, tomatoes... More

I had intended having the house burger which looked fab but was told they were out of burgers and this was at 1.15pm which was very odd. They were not serving their house speciality pasta either as they said they were out of the sauce for it, again very odd if you have a house special! So I had the... More

We were there for lunch. We ordered sea bass, sardines and squid served with a good locally produced white wine . We were the first customers and soon the place was almost packed. The owner and the service staff were friendly and considerate. The quality of the fish was excellent, the squids melted in the mouth. We highly recommend it... More

We had the octopus rice and it was delicious, and a generous portion. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They even offered port wine on the house to thank us for visiting. Would recommend to anyone!
