Very good portuguese food ! We ate "migas de caça " that were delicious . The staff is young ,nice and joyful but very efficient . We ate in the outside and it was very agreeable .

I went with friends yesterday and we had three delicious meat options all served with excellent roast potatoes and a good selection of well cooked (not overcooked) vegetables. Despite the fact that we had booked the service though good was very slow.

Busy restaurants in the countryside, excellent food, lamb shanks, venison, goat, pork with a few fish options. Delicious. Friendly staff, good house wine, nice ambience. What’s not to like? Will definitely be back!

Visited for the first time this week having been recommended by a neighbour. It was absolutely fantastic. A traditional menu - wild boar, goat, black pork - delicious food, great service and value and super friendly. Can't wait to go again!

If you love country side and Portuguese cuisine this is one of the best place i can recomend. Most of the dishes are from the alentejo and algarve area. Well and very fresh prepared. Very good house wine. Quick and friendly service. Must reserve a...table. Best to go there is for lunch.More

This is like a hidden gem of Algarve. So happy we’ve decided to take a longer drive to Barranco do Velho for a lunch. This place breathes authenticity. Tables available either inside, or on a terrace (covered or uncovered areas available to choose). Unpretentious but...very cosy. Portions are hearty. We’ve ordered Migas com Bochechas no forno - Pork cheeks and bread mash from the oven, which is a dish for 2. There were 3 of us, and we felt like it was enough even for 4. Delicious dish, highly recommended.More

We love this restaurant. Over the past years we had lunch here several times and we always left with a smile on our face. There are two seating areas: the one inside is clean and cosy, the covered area outside is kind of fancy. We...like both! Most importantly: there is one fantastic kitchen producing mouthwatering and generous plates of food. On the menu you will find goat, lamb, wild boar, black pork, steak, garlic prawns and two of their classic migas dishes. Everything served with seasonal vegetables, oven roasted potatoes and great salad. Their deserts are also exceptional. The service is professional, helpful, efficient and friendly. They always make us feel welcome and they serve their food with pride. You might think it's a bit out of your way, but it's really worth the beautiful drive. By no means you will find anything of this quality around the upmarket coastal resorts, certainly not at this price.More

We called in for lunch on a November Saturday. It was packed despite being miles from anywhere. No problems with disabled access. The owner & her staff were very friendly. The food was amazing. Wild boar stew came in huge portions. The migas with cod...and prawns was served inside a loaf of bread! The choice of sweets was good - almond cake was delicious. It is well worth a trip up into the hills to find this restaurant.More

No idea. Phone them. I think they do evening meals, but we went for lunch. Back again in October so we might go again.
