Argentinian rump. Black pork. Chorizo and black beans. Rice. Chips. Salad. Nuff said. Best meat in Portugal. Great service.

We didn't go for the full tasting menu but had the Picanha and Maminha. Outstanding. Just as the service and ambience.

What a find! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. The portions are huge & the steaks are delicious. Huge variety of desserts (I recommend the Molotov). Good house wine too. Great value for money and lovely staff.

A party of 9 of us visited early one Sunday evening as we had 2 young children with us. Nobody there when we arrived but it started to get much busier about 8. Various meals ordered including the Picanha which is the steak on the skewer (can be sliced thinner so it's cooked more), T bone, peppered steak, lamb chops... More

We were heading for a different place to eat when we found that many roads in Loule were blocked off for the market. So we had to head to the other end of town. We then tried another restaurant but couldn't get a parking spot. Then we were forced to try this very modest looking restaurant - and we were... More

What can I say about this place!?? My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for as long as I can remember (even when the family had a tiny place up near Cruz da Assamada). The family are so friendly and the service excellent, this simply matches the quality of the food. Being a steak lover, the quality... More

I was taken here for Picanha and black beans - not sure I was looking forward to it. But I have to say I can see why the Portuguese like it so much. It is quite salty and so if you are not a fan of salt then tread carefully! But if you want to try something truly Brazilian -... More

I visited this lovely traditional family restaurant with my husband and two young children. It was quite busy, and it was a Sunday evening. There were locals dining as well as expats and other tourists. We received a warm welcome from all the staff. My husband and I both had the famous meat dishes, my husband the Brazilian beef and... We stopped by here for a late dinner after an evening out. The omelette with chips & salad were divine! If I ever get to visit again I will definitely try the grilled meats served on huge V-shaped skewers - looked amazing. There's a great relaxed atmosphere with many local people eating out. The service was friendly and swift (we... More
