Beautiful dishes , went here during off season and actually got a table.. Very tasty. There is always a queue during high season though.

We were supposed to get in the restaurant at 9:30 pm, after doing the "reservation" (on the afternoon or early evening you write your name on a list) but when we arrived, we were told we had to wait 20min. Well, why not, it seemed to worth it. But after one hour outside, still nothing. Finally, after waiting one hour... More

We went there on one occasion, and we were lucky to get last free table as you better book your table in advance to have chance to try a really authentic Portuguese food. Everything was sooo nice, food, atmosphere, service, wine! We did not try any of desserts but we are sure they are very tasty over there. We had... More

You must book to get into this hole-in-the-wall family restaurant as there are only about 25 seats and it's popular. Very good seafood, and we really liked their special house prawn dish, and lamb stew. Very hearty portions which make the dishes good for sharing. And best of all: great value for money, proving once again that you need not... More

When you are looking for a genuine portguese place with great local food this restaurant is the place to go! The food ialways comes in excellent and fresh quality and - huge portions,. But: the restaurant is small. Very small. Luis runs the kitchen by hinself (always with a friendly smile!) together with his charming wife and one waiter efficiently... More

This restaurant was excellent, great fresh sea food. Try the Mussels & Prawns combination in sauce with rice for 2, simply superb. You should book as the restaurant is small only caters for 25-30, & when we left there were as many people waiting outside to get in.

Best lunch we had in portugal! Never had Cataplana before so you might think i have no basis of reference but it was absolutely amazing. It's not often that you get to taste something new for the first time that you'll remember for the rest of your life, simply because your taste buds won't let you forget. We had to... More

A bit disappointed at first (they opened 20 minutes after opening time and were quite rude at first) but the meal we had (the catalana with shrimps to share) was absolutely amazing! Make sure to have reserved ahead.

I do love this place but have to say the prices are creeping up. We were there for lunch & it was the most expensive lunch/dinner of our holiday. The house prawns are delicious but are served on there own at €12.90 so you need to order salad/rice/bread to go with them .Also think they a bit cheeky on their wine...
