we visited here on our first evening in lagos. after travelling for hours and not eaten since that morning we were ready for a good meal and were not disappointed!
the place is small but we went early on in the evening so was quiet....there is loads of quirky art on the walls
staff were really friendly and explained everything. partner had fish and chips that came with this amazing coleslaw and i had the starter of popcorn prawns and seasoned chips all to come as a main meal, just as well as the prawns was a really good sized portion considering it was a starter and they tasted amazing!
the meals come served in miniature drawers which i thought was quite amusing. prices incredibly reasonable, located on a back street away from the main part of town.More
We come to Lagos every year and always make a trip to Ol' Bastards. The staff are friendly and attentive and the fish and chips are always super. I get the British and hubby gets Australian. Delicious every time! Would highly recommend a trip here...while in LagosMore
In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Lagos! Not only cool, unique design of this place’s interior and delicious food (the best fish and chips!!) but also amazing people that work there and do their best to create a great atmosphere...and make you feel very welcomed. All mixed - makes it a place which you want to visit again and again :) I highly recommend it to everyone!More
We visited on our first night of being in the Algarve and felt it was a warm and friendly atmosphere from the Aussie guy and all the other staff
To eat we had:
Onion ring tower
Fish n Chips Aussie style...w/minted peas
Fish n Chips American style w/coleslaw
Fish Tacos- savoury/spicy/sweet
We thought the menu was fantastic and the flexibility of being able to change a few sides and sauces around.
The starters were amazing particularly the prawns and the fried avo.
The portion sizes were pretty big and good value for money in that sense.More

Opens around 6:30 and u could book a table for then or else arrive early at the door . Give your name and go across the road to their cocktail bar for a drink. Usually you’d have a table before your drinks are finished.
