This charming restaurant offers: —> both indoor and outdoor dining options (a plus to those of us still taking extra precautions around COVID) —> a limited enough menu to have confidence that each dish is thoughtfully prepared —> friendly staff who struck the balance between...being laid back and still being helpful —> and finally….. the food. It is delicious, but what will forever stand out to me was a carrot dish they had. Their carrot dish is the best vegetable dish i have had in my life anywhere, and I do not think it will be surpassed. I loved it so much we ate there a second night when my friend arrived, and she too was bowled over. When we asked our guesthouse hosts where to dine on the third night, they - locals and skilled foodistas - immediately said Se7pedras is the best in the city. Yes, Se7pedras is located in the touristy dining part of the city (this gave me pause) but don’t let that put you off. If you are reading this go, and please please try the carrot dish - it is amazing. Yes, my review is built around praise of a carrot dish. No I am *not* a vegetarian or vegan. Amazing restaurant and super friendly staff. The tapas are very good and prices very reasonable. From the fish to the meat, and including the vegetarian tapas (one of the best vegetarian dish I have ever had in my entire life) everything was delicious. This was our first visit and not our last! We ate the Pork Loin, Duck, Potato with horseradish and Focaccia. We really enjoyed the meal and the surroundings. The food was excellent but the wine list offered a poor selection with expensive (€85!!) Of course,...as normal, the €12.50 bottle is one we buy ourselves for €2.99! The service was excellent and the staff are really lovely and welcoming.More

Booked for 22 Nov by email. Received confirmation Turned up and they were closed. Closed on 23rd too but open on 24th. We didn’t go in but they were empty and they’d let us down previously May well be a good reason so let’s not...be too harsh. But a quick email to say they would be closed would be common courtesy IMO We went to Seven Cuts round the corner instead. It’s qualityMore

Absolutely amazing. Good top quality. Beer top quality. Service top quality. The only down side was the 2 pretend food bloggers on the table opposite who are hell bent on finding something wrong. Disgraceful behaviour and nothing short of bullying at times.

This was the outstanding meal of the holiday. Amazing flavours from every single dish including those I didn't expect to like. I can't recommend it enough!

Favourite meal of our trip. The vegetarian food was delicious and different and my husband really enjoyed his swordfish ceviche. We also loved sitting underneath the beautiful bougainvillea.

We went our first hours in Faro to this place. The staff is so nice and know what they are serving. Its really interesting to listen how its made and where its coming from. The food is amazing and the price is even not that...high. We went back for our last night and they even remembered us. Dont know if its because the many wine we had or that they know how to run a restaurant. Just a really good vibe, with good food and a lot off incredible wines. Take your time and enjoy everything. Youre not gonna regret this.More
