Under the departing flight path from Faro airport and overlooking the creeks and marshland there are two restaurants. One charges £15 for elementary starters such as calamari and £25 for lamb chops. We did not cross the threshold. the other is Clube Naval where two attentive young women serve a simple but excellent lunch. Be warned that the kitchen is... More

We had had a large buffet Sunday lunch in our hotel we went for a stroll around the harbour looking for somewhere to have a light fish supper. We came across this restaurant by chance and okay it is a simple restaurant and could do with a facelift but it is in an excellent location overlooking the sea and is... More

We came hear for a last minute dinner - we sat on the terrace but as it was night we couldn't see out but it was nice to be by the sea. This was very convenient for our hotel ( the Eva). We ordered the speciality of the day - prawns with garlic sauce - market price we did not... More

We arrived at approximately 3:10pm and we were told that only grilled fish and shell fish is available as kitchen is closed, please note that at the door it said they closed at 6:30pm but anyway we didn't really mind at the time. As soon as you sit down they get you some bread, cheese and carrots... By the time... More

Looks like it didn´t have any reshuffle in at least 30 years. But the view is very good! One of the best in Faro city, actually. We had some simple lunch. Typical starter with carrot. The main course was fish called Pregado, grilled, - very good and fresh. Staff was attentive enough. Wasn´t too cheap for the type of a... More

Lunch was excellent, great view over the sea and islands. Fish was fresh and well cooked we chose 2 turbut for the three of us and one fish would have been enough. 2,5 kilos cost €90 and the wine was only €17 so for less than € 40 a head we had a great meal. Portugal has a habit of... More

To reach the restaurant you have to go up 3 flight of stairs and the bannister was greasy and sticky all the way up. The restaurant looked dark (not romantic: dark). We sat at a table by the window and inly other two clients were there. They brought unrequested bread, butter olives, cheese and sardine pate' which at the end... More

Don't get me wrong, the food was good. But when this place that charges you for the bread they place on the table, the butter and miscellaneous items that you didn't order, and thought were complimentary since they placed them on the table, RUN! Needless to say, we didn't tip after we were told we couldn't order a seafood platter... More

Good quality of seafood but the price is too great comparing with other European holidays destination including England. I had the opportunity to buy fish at great quantities in London Fish Market Billingsgate for my last fish restaurant in UK. I have to say the prices at this location is very high. Perhaps the management should revise prices. Otherwise the... More
