Our second visit to this local Portuguese restaurant. I like the fact that the menu is in Portuguese only and little English is spoken. The food is everyday type of food, tasty and reasonably priced.

The service was excellent; fish absolutely melt-in-the-mouth; and wonderful house wine. We'll be visiting again before this holiday is over.

Ok two three things that may annoy people: they put stuff down like bread, toasts and cheese and a salad without you ordering them so if you dont want them just say if you eat them you are charged; too many distracting TV screens these are annoying and pointless and there is a smoking section if this is going to... It's one of those places you always hope to find when travelling. I jewell where the locals go and create the atmosphere of the place you are. Great value for money, lovely atmosphere, excellent staff coming here again. Tomorrow actually :)))

Before the main arrived we... More

The wood was delicious. I had pork and my wife had seabream. The staff was very friendly and it was close to the train station. It was probably a tourist trap, but it ended being very nice.

Location was convenient (close to the train station), price was fair considering the size of the portions and the service was very good. The food unfortunately was disappointing; tasteless and kind of 'lazy'. The rice with clams was plain white rice (probably leftovers) mixed with tiny clams without any flavour. The fried fish wasn't seasoned and mostly bones. The tuna... More

We ate here twice, once for whole fish and once for the Cataplana both were great and the waiters very helpful and nice. Not the cheapest place in the area, but a good atmosphere...
